Marauder Mini 7,000 Lumens Bright Flashlight with 600 Meters Beam Distance, Powerful RGB Lights, Magnetic Rechargeable for Outdoors Work, Hunting, and Searching(Midnight Blue)

The flashlight is well-made. It is on the heavy side. It holds each charge for a long time. I like the strobe function which works in the flood mode only. The floodlight mode can light up an entire room. Impressive.

Well, what can I say? This flashlight bestows a veritable biblical magnitude of illumination into one's hand. I find myself irresistibly tempted to utter, "Let there be light," before engaging the actuator button. I acquired this light to equip myself for those instances when I must investigate the proverbial thing that goes bump in the night. The first time I ventured into my darkened yard with this device, I was astounded by the level of illumination in floodlight mode. It quite literally illuminated my entire front yard, which spans approximately 50 yards (or 100 cubits). I am uncertain who was more astonished by this brilliance—myself, or the three raccoons busily raiding my bird feeders. The sheer magnitude of light convinced them, without further persuasion, to abandon their efforts and vanish into the dark perimeters of my field of flashlight brilliance. After recovering from my initial surprise, I switched the device to spotlight mode out of curiosity. With childlike delight, I swept the penetrating beam across everything in the surrounding area. This, unfortunately, resulted in a telephone call from my neighbor who resides more than a hundred yards away. Evidently, the light penetrated their windows, startling them enough to inquire if anything was amiss. In summary, I am profoundly impressed with this light's performance. Its incredible brilliance is coupled with a reasonable battery life in both spot and flood modes. The ability to vary the level of brightness and select multiple output colors is greatly appreciated. If I were to point to a single drawback, it would be the cost. This is not an inexpensive item, but in the realm of quality tools, you indeed get what you pay for. This is a quality tool and well worth the price.

This flashlight is super awesome. The floodlight lights up a wide area, very very brightly. I love how the brightness adjusts with the scroll of the on/off button. It’s visually appealing seeing the power level lit up well and displayed well you’re turning the on/off button. It vibrates when you hit max lumens or min, it feels super high quality and well built. The throw light beam also seem to go extremely far and light up a good amount of space. The red blue green lights are awesome too, just press and hold the on and off button, so nice! I just got this thing, I’m hoping I experience no issues. I do love the magnetic charge on the bottom too. The holster it comes with for a belt or something is nice too. It also feels really nice in my hands, it’s exactly the proper size to perfectly fit just in my hand on the grip, super comfortable feel to carry. It’s the perfect sized flashlight. It feels like it could take an impact and be fine, it’s very durable. Very good value for the money

I learned of the Mini after scouring the internet for a powerful, well-regulated and quality flashlight that offered beam colors other than white. I love Acebeam and considered getting their L19 with a green OSRAM emitter, but didn’t want to be limited to a pure thrower experience with no flood option. Reviews of the Mini were positive, and although I have mixed feelings about Olight’s proprietary batteries and magnetic charging system, I took the plunge and ordered it. My first impression was how hefty this light is. The 32650 cell and thick aluminum housing result in a light that weighs well over a pound. I love this, though—the weight, shape and design simply feels fantastic in the hand. Finally, the beam: The central emitter projects a tight beam with almost no spill that reveals objects hundreds of feet away; the six small emitters surrounding that provide a brilliant, 180 degree flood experience; finally, the remaining three RGB emitters provide a beautiful, rich flood of red, blue or green depending on your selection. Since you’re limited to one emitter for these colors, they’re not as bright as their white counterparts, but are still amazingly bright in dark or near-dark conditions. I will continue to use the Mini to see how the proprietary cell performs. I understand that OLight uses boost or buck drivers in the Mini which gives me confidence in having sustained lumen output during use.

This flashlight is great! The controls have a learning curve, but it is really bright. The toggle switch allows to quickly go from narrow beam to wide and back again. Excellent Olight quality that I have noticed in several other Olight flashlights. Very compact with an excellent run time. Would definitely buy again

Very well-made, small compact but powerful

The Olight Marauder Mini is the latest in the Marauder line next to the larger (and more powerful) Marauder 2. In a way, it's the Marauder 2+ in therms of functionality, but it does not replace the larger sibling. The stubby giant is an impressive device with a price tag to match. For $200 you get a solid metal housing with a beautiful anodizing. I liked the black with blue accents, but ultimately decided on the more standout Orange. It's beautiful, and it's easier to find in the dark. A recent special of $130 was irresistible to me. One improvement of the Mini over the Marauder 2 is a pretty significant one. By making the battery a replaceable (large) standardized 32650, the longevity woes of the larger flashlight with a built-in battery are addressed. The housing is built for eternity and the battery should have an option to follow. The large diameter and plastic collar make it difficult to fit this giant into an external charger. The included USB adapter cable (with magnetic connector to the flashlight) works well, but is unique and when lost, you can't charge the battery (until you get a replacement). It is, however, the same interface as many other Olight flashlights and you may have a few of them. (That may not help when on a trip with the cable(s) left at home.) The other improvement may matter more to some than others. A new ability to provide Red, Green, and Blue light is a nice option—even if in my use there isn't much need for it. The activation of the different colors is the only thing about the user interface that feels like it got a secondary treatment. You hold the button after unlocking for like 3 seconds and the red LED turns on, repeat a press and hold and the green one takes over. You can probably guess how to activate the Blue. It's in sequence and always starts with white, then red, then green ... You cannot pre-select a color before turning the light on. You can, however, change the brightness just the same as the white light. A nice touch is the tactile feedback (buzz) when reaching the maximum or minimum brightness setting. In a way, that's not essential, but it adds to a well thought-out interface. Double tap the button and you switch between maximum brightness and 50%, regardless of which light color. And triple tap only works when in white flood mode, where it triggers a strobe light at maximum brightness. Do this in any other mode (color or spot) and the triple tap does nothing, not sure why. It sure feels overly restrictive and it would be nice if I could set a red strobe at half intensity for longer battery life. Just, that is not an option. The dial is a great interface idea and so is the self-locking (when off) with the 1/4 turn flick to unlock. That should prevent unintentional activation, but also takes some getting used to when trying to turn it on. The bars for battery charge level and brightness surround the dial. They are too dim to being useful in bright locations, but that's probably also when you don't need a flashlight. The center dot light up in the color chosen, but that's rather a gimmick since you can't pre-select a color and it's more or less to confirm the obvious. There is no moving part in this housing (aside from buttons), and the beam doesn't adjust by sliding the head/lens. The toggle switch alternates between a floodlight setting that activates the six outer white LEDs, and the spotlight setting, which disables those and enables the center LED. So you have the option between a wide coverage and a fairly narrow spot, but nothing in between. The claimed 7000 lumen (max) only applies to the flood setting, whereas the spotlight tops out at 900 lumen. That's a much smaller number than many of the lofty claims reaching a million lumen or more in other manufacturers. (It's fair to trust the Olight numbers more than the many "cheap" models flooding the market.) Either way, it's very bright and 50 Lumen is the minimum brightness. That's a very workable range, even if I miss a moon lighting mode (5 lumen) for situations when 50 is simply too much. The lanyard attachment seems out of place at first, but works just fine where it is. The holster is a nice accessory to keep the flashlight looking new longer. PS: During the special offer, I received a used flash light. It was fully functional but not declared used. It even had the previous owner's name tag on it (and none of the protective covers were in place anymore). As I don't know the reasons for it's initial return, Amazon was very easy to work with to get a new replacement. That was probably unnecessary, but at this price, I simply wanted to be sure.

I have had my Olight mini marauder since Dec 2023 and it has been a great flashlight. It does get pretty warm if you run it on high for more than a few minutes but I love the brightness this light puts off and I really love the option of being able to toggle between floodlight and spotlight with one switch. I like the size and weight & It's built very durable. I've had it for 8 months now and it's still amazing but the charger not so much. About two months after purchasing it, I noticed the light on the magnetic charger would stay green and not turn red (charge) even when the battery was depleted. I have to slide it off and on and sometimes move the cable around before it will turn red and start to charge, but even then it usually turns back to green pretty quickly. I have it plugged into a proper outlet, so I know it's not due to low voltage. I have read online several other people have experienced this same issue with their chargers. I think the charger should be built with the same quality as the flashlight since it is a pricey flashlight. It wouldn't be a problem if it didn't require the special magnetic charger. The company should consider going to a common one such as USB-C or work the bugs out of the current one. I hope I can find a replacement and that it doesn't come defective as well.
