Philips Replacement Shaver Blades Series 1000 + 3000 Electric Shavers - SH30/50

The blades on my Series 1000 were well worn and I was considering buying a new shaver until i saw these genuine Philips quality replacements. Fitted really easily and shaver restored to as good as new condition. Nice quick clean smooth shave and saved some money not buying new shaver.

I'm plagiarising another's review here but these are an upgrade (despite the fact that they do not mention it here being suitable fit) on the blades of an S7000 shaver. As you can clearly see in the photos, the blades in the bottom part of the photo are doubled up, they are the SH91 blades, the others are the original blades for my S7000. I was alerted to this by another gentleman leaving a review hereabouts for the S7000 ( I did too but will have to find it). He had put the blades in from the off, presumably because it was cheaper to buy the S7000 and these blades. As you can see, the two rows have corresponding holes/slits to cut hairs, so in theory you have double the cutting ability. However, I couldn't fully attest to them being much better, but for the £5 more that they cost over the S7000 replacement heads, I'd say they're good quality being Philips, giving a speedier cut in theory. Ease of installing them-very easy, very fast, maybe less than a minute. I should say, any brand new razor of any type is going to have good reviews of them, read between the lines, and maybe updated reviews to see what they're really like over time.

I prefer to buy Philips rather than third party products. This set of blades and covers is quieter than my previous sets, there is much less rubbing. A better fit inside. They also have little guides attached to stop them spinning in the plastic razor holder. My previous third party ones did not have this. I have numbered each of the cases and blades. Inevitably, they will fall out during cleaning and they need to be matched correctly otherwise they will rub and scrape in the wrong configuration. Careful of this folks.

Quality replacement

My shaver wasn't given me as good a shave. So figured it was heads needing replacement. Like having a new shaver. OE replacement, apparently need replacement every year. Worth the money

Just fitted these replacement heads in to my shaver (a pretty easy swap out so that was good!) and very happy as shaver now good as new. Certainly looked like the genuine article so confident that they should last as long as the original ones they replace.

As I bought these shaving heads as spares for a new Philips compact shaver, hence I havent used them as yet. As they are genuine Philips replacements I am not expecting any issues when I do use them.

Cut well but expensive

Be careful, the description could deceive you in thinking you are buying the shaver head instead of buying the shaver replacement blades. the blades are perfect but I wanted to get the shaver head with the blades

These original Philips heads for my 8000 series Norelco electric shaver work great. They fit perfectly and most importantly make my shaver cut like new. They cost more than the knock offs, but most importantly have a 2-year replacement cycle, and 2) have double the cutting heads of the knock offs. If you look closely at the pictures of the knock offs then compare them to these heads, you will see that these heads have double the number of cutters. I would buy these replacement heads again.

He sustituido mis viejos cabezales por estos SH91/50 originales y la diferencia es abismal. Mi afeitadora (Series 9000) ha recuperado la potencia y la suavidad del primer día. Lo destacable: Apurado: Cortan el pelo de una pasada, sin tirones, algo que se va perdiendo poco a poco con los cabezales viejos sin darte cuenta. Calidad: Se nota que son las cuchillas SteelPrecision originales. He probado compatibles baratas en el pasado y acaban irritando la piel; con estas, cero rojeces. Instalación: Encajan perfectas y es muy sencillo cambiarlas. Conclusión: Aunque el precio pueda parecer alto para ser un recambio, merece la pena totalmente para alargar la vida útil de una máquina de esta gama.

The front of the box says they fit the Phillips 5000 series. The back of the box says they do not fit the 5000 series triangular shape razors. Which they don't. So I had to return them, which Amazon processed very quickly.
