Have to use chiropodist as some nails I can't cut myself. Not any more. These clippers are excellent. Thick nails no problem, just do a bit at a time to get used to them. Two nails that were growing in the sides and painful, sorted. Very comfortable in the hand and not too heavy. Very easy to use. The precision point is good as it does cut right to the point which most scissors don't do. The cut on them is amazing. A professional item in my opinion, and not and exorbitant price.

Bought these clippers after having tried several pairs of toenail clippers over the years which have been less than excellent, and must say that I'm absolutely delighted with not just the quality, look/feel, but the way they cut my nails effortlessly and cleanly.These are an excellent pair with super-sharp, contoured blades.The handles are covered in a soft rubberised material which is really excellent for accurate results, although I would recommend that you have a bath or hot shower to soak the nails, which makes them softer, before using these for the best results.

I bought these clippers to replace an excellent pair of scissors I'd been using for years to cut my toe nails. Over time my nails have become very thick, in part due to damage caused by long distance walking. These clippers are sharp, robust and accurate (ie I can avoid catching soft tissue in the jaws). My level of manual dexterity is high so operation of the clippers poses no problems - those with arthritic conditions might find them a tad difficult to use. Criticism? Well, the plastic cover that holds the jaws closed when not in use could be more robust - I doubt it will last more than a couple of months. Overall, though, a fine product.

Over the years I have tried many, many genres of "these will tackle even the most difficult nails" products. My most recent failure, a pair of heavy duty nail clippers, lasted a couple of years before they disintegrated as I was cutting my big toenail when they just - quite literally - fell apart in my hand. Right, I thought, I've had enough of this. Time to buy something decent. So I sent for these. Oh, wow. These toenail clippers are secateurs for the nails. I can't imagine any nails that they wouldn't slice a way through with a lovely even cut created by the curve of the blades. I'm not at my best when cutting the nails on my right hand 'cos I am not left handed... but these clippers have such a positive cut I have found it a breeze to use them left handed. I can't recommend them highly enough really. They are absolutely brilliant and worth every penny I spent on them.

This item was excellent quality, sharp and the pointedness of the nippers was really effective in dealing with my toenails. It looks really good and was very easy to hold and use. Good size- large enough to get a proper hold but not a micro tool which is fiddly. Very sharp and with a precise action. I like the rubber non- slip trim on the handles. Easy to compress - no struggle. Comes with a handy slip-on safety cap for the jaws- v functional. All round excellent gadget- way better than tiny traditional clippers or heavy gauge toe nail scissors. Gets 5 star all round from me!!

Lovely sharp clippers and easy to use. Loved them ... but after four uses I managed all too easily to break off one of the blades 😬 Only used on toenails, and not problem nails either. In the end v disappointed.
