The Viking Revolution solid colognes surprised me in a good way. The scents are smooth, masculine, and not overpowering. The cedar wood one is my favorite. Easy to carry, easy to apply, and perfect for quick touch ups. Great value for the set.

I absolutely love unisex colognes. I know that's not what this was marketed as but more than half of them can easily be worn by men or women. The original scent that got me interested in trying this brand for cologne was the coffee and whiskey. But honestly there are so many of these that I will wear as a woman and enjoy the scent myself. The sweet tobacco and spiced vanilla are really nice in particular I do also have their brand of magnesium spray which I have found very helpful when I get leg cramps at night. Within 5 minutes of spraying and massaging it in my calves, the cramps are gone. Anybody who knows what those feel like and how miserable they can make your night, that was a godsend as well. So any of their products, I would definitely be willing to give it a shot. But if you like a more unisex cologne, I definitely recommend this set to try them out.

I dislike spray colognes, they're just too strong for me and most of them smell like alcohol to some degree (that's what makes them dry quickly, I understand but it's still unpleasant). So I've never really used colognes and when I learned you can get some in a solid form now, I wanted in on that to see if it was something I would like. I received the sample pack today and really only expected to like 2 of the 4 scents (I'm very particular and it's hard to say beforehand if I'll like a scent or not). I was pleased with 3 of them, so that was a nice surprise. The clary sage, as I expected, did not smell nice to me... but for some reason it is growing on me every time I smell it again. There's just something about it that really hits me in the nostrils initially, I guess. The tins are a nice design- rather than having to try to pry off the tops of these small containers they just slide open and closed, very convenient. I worry they will lose their scent over time due to not being airtight but they ARE samples. I noticed the regular sized containers are tins with actual lids so that concern won't translate to a larger size. I have not tried any of them on yet to see if they are compatible with my natural scent, so i can't comment on how long it lasts throughout the day- but it comes in a TIN that is easy to carry around or keep in a desk drawer etc, i don't see how much more convenient you can get if you do need to "refresh" later in the day. I'm not sure any of them will but that's ok- that's not the fault of the product, that's just a trial and error thing. 4 samples for $10 and each will likely last pretty long even if you use them regularly so I'm pleased with the value. Vetiver is the most mild and pleasant and probably the one I'll test first. Sandalwood always smells nice on its own, not sure if I personally can wear it successfully. Cedar and Pine is probably the strongest scent of the 4 and I'm not sure if I like it or not right now- the intensity of the scent is probably throwing me off. It certainly doesn't smell bad but you definitely won't need a lot of this stuff to smell nice. The sage is the 2nd strongest smelling. Regardless of what you get, a little will definitely go a long way and I'm looking forward to trying these out. If any of these ends up being a match and complements my natural scent you can be sure I'll be getting a full tin so I never run out!

As a first time user, takes time to learn the drill and get used to it. All the fragances are great. As now I rub it with the thumb and figer tips and the apply to body. Leaves a nice scent.

I've become a fan of this type of solid cologne. First off, solids like this are easy to travel with, and secondly, they tend to be easy to apply. This is my Viking Revolution purchase so the small sample pack was an easy entry. I realize that scent is highly personal but I'd say that these deliver a quality fragrance; my favorite is the Cedar and Pine. Keep in mind that a little goes a long way and while the scent may not last all day, it will be there for a fair amount of time. This all sounds good, so why only three stars? I have found that the wax in this pack (maybe this is an anomaly?) is very hard. I am used to Duke Cannon solid colognes, their wax heats up very easily and while firm it is definitely easier to apply than this Viking offering. I have found that I have to use my fingernail to essentially scrape some of the wax and then rub it into my skin, this works, however, it's not what I was expecting or used to. If you can get past the hard/dry aspect of the wax, this is a good option to throw in your bag for a trip or even daily use. I like the scent, I'm just not sold on the application. Do I recommend it? Maybe, if you want the small size, this is a good option, but I would likely recommend the Duke Cannon full-size option due to its more convenient application. Will I buy it again? Maybe, I'm not sure; hence three stars for now.

My son will love them, it's for in his stocking. It's smaller than i thought but i hope the scents make up for the si,e and it's a little different for a stocking stuffer !! Pretty cool !!

It was a Christmas gift for my husband and he (and I) really likes them! Doesn't last all day though, but I imagine it'll be easy to re-apply if needed since you only need a small amount!

Good selection of scents, contained in sturdy little tins so practical to carry anywhere. My favourite scent is sandalwood (classic, sweet), then Vetiver is a bit fresh, zesty, Clary Sage is like an evening scent not sure how to describe it. My least favourite is Cedar & Pine, quite strong and overpowering. These solid colognes will last a long time I think, and it’s healthier than aluminium laden deodorants. They also make other scents like Vanilla and Bay Rum. I discovered this brand after ordering my usual No Pong solid deodorants.
