Durable and good. However, not as long as I expected.

Don't buy. Absolutely useless. Impossible to use as it cannot be locked into position with a DSLR attached. The camera just flops down even with the nuts fully tightened. I am returning it for a refund.

I buy a lot of gear from K&F. I think it well-made for the price and this is no exception. However, I do find that it's difficult to tighten up the screw clamps so that the camera doesn't slowly move under it's own weight. I am using an Olympus OM1 so it's not a particularly heavy camera.In fairness, that's partly my problem as I've arthritis in my fingers. Even then, it would still have been nice if the screw clamp at the pivot point was designed to allow you to exert a bit more force without exerting so much effort.

The K&F box containing the Boom Arm and bracket was damaged and the lid partway opened. All contents appeared to be in box within plastics wrapping. The assembly of the Boom Arm comprises 9 items, most small. There are not assembly instructions, though by trial could assemble the boom arm - though one item left and would have required further investigation and attempts.Pictorial instructions included for use with a tripod but only once arm assembled.Attaching articulated bracket to a tripod simple to achieve but securely fixing the boom arm to this bracket supplied requires an Allen key. One tiny Allen key was included but far too small for loosening and then tightening the arm to the bracket.While this tiny key maybe has some other undetermined use, not possible to fix the arm without the correct Allen key. Did not have a key that fitted and did not wish to add to the purchase cost by buying a full set to gain one that worked.Very dissapointed and requested a return to Amazon.

The screw holes of one side came with a black plastic piece glued to it was impossible to take it off, I had to return it. The quality overall of the material is good, a shame is lacking of instructions to explain you have to take off a white paper busher inside the rotary connector before using, if you don’t do it you can damage any equipment of yours because it won’t hold it if you don’t take the round paper busher before
