Brisket, wonderful smoke ring

I just got a new wood stove and wanted to start with a few small fires. They just won't stay lit. I have the flue wide open. I am open to suggestions. I already tried different arrangements.EDIT: They have excellent customer service. They refunded my money and offered to send me a free box. Turns out the wood was wet. I stacked it over a heater vent for two weeks and it lit up. The only problem was that I needed it two weeks ago.

My initial review was: I loved the smell and it’s easy to light but it does not last. I went through the entire box in two days. Won’t be purchasing again.Since then, the Seller reached out to me about my issues with my purchase and they were very diligent in their effort to find a resolution. They sent me a new box of wood that is performing really well. The new wood came just in time, as we are experiencing colder than average temps in NYC at the moment. My home is cozy thanks to firewood and smell wonderful. Will repurchase.

Thought I was getting 100% apple wood. Does not appear to be the case. I just spent the last few days preparing and smoking several pounds of pork. Finely get done tonight and I sit down and take a bite and I got a very noticeable pine flavor. I'm pretty sure the description said 100 %. One would believe you wouldn't have to check every log but guess again. So checked out the box the rest of the wood was in and found 3 8"x1"x1" rectangular shaped sticks of pine. Who knows how many I threw in the smoker that messed up my cook. So thank you for $300 in floor cleaner flavored pork.
