This is the most wonderful ice pack I have bought yet. It's not heavy at all, and fits on my hip just right. The one con is getting used to sitting with it and adjusting the straps to fit right. It also stays cold for about 45 minutes. Definitely get one, you won't regret it.

I don't use it for my hip, but instead for a cooling mat for my pillow! It has a really soft side that is comfortable to lay on! It freezes quickly in about an hour or so, I like to it freeze for longer before I use it at night! I have been sleeping on it at night when I have a migraine or when my neck hurts. It has lasted several months with no sign of wear and tear! Great product!

I order for my husband who just had hip surgery. He was very impressed with the ice pack. I like that the straps come off. Honestly, I can't figure out how to use them. He's still recovering in bed still so we don't need the straps yet. But, so far so good.

The size is great for the hip area. The straps are a little confusing to use. There is a hook and loop fasteners at the ends. The taps on the item aren't very supportive, IMO. They get out of shape and don't lie flat. I worry they may tear.

I gave 3/5 because the concept is wonderful however the cold doesn't last long. I fractured my pelvis and am having alot of pain in my groin so I love that I can put it right in my groin area to help with inflammation and pain but it just doesn't last that long. I keep it in the freezer and when my pain levels get high I put it on and I like to leave it on until it warms but it only lasts a half hour or so. I am only supposed to be leaving it on for 20-30 minutes but when you are in this much pain, you do whatever you can to help calm things down.

This thing is great. I got it for my moms hip surgery and she was so happy with it. Now I use it to ice my back. It's flexible, stays cold for a long time and stays in place

I gave this as a gift to a friend having hip replacement surgery and she loves it! Even when cold, the pack is soft and flexible, and perfectly covers the area over the hip.

I am not new to Ice Packs, I have other ice packs that I purchased from Amazon in 2018 for my shoulder and my back and they are still working fine.I saw this design and figured that it would be good for my hip and back.I purchased the 23rd of March 2024 and on the 24th of April 2024, one month and one day laterI took the Ice Pack out of the freezer and it was leaking.Never used the ice pack with the straps so it was not under any stress.One day after the return window was closed.I never write reviews but this on really got to me.Quality is poorYou may as well purchase something with better quality.
