These are great

For the price, it can’t be beat. It comfortably hold my Dan Wesson 1911’s plus two magazines. I did add renaissance wax on my firearms. Wasn’t sure if the straps will rub the bluing off

The quality on these is not exactly premium, but it's certainly more than passable -- they are rugged enough for transport to/from the range. And of all the various options I looked at, these are the best, overall, in terms of size and usability. They fit a full sized pistol and are still pretty low profile. They will load into smaller backpacks or shoulder bags, no problem. I like that they have Velcro on the inside, though the included loop thing for securing the pistol doesn't work very well -- but that's a problem easily fixed by getting whatever Velcro based holder suits you. For the money I would recommend these.

Love these for range day

I usually don't buy something without reviews so after some research I thought I would order one pack of 3 bags to check it out. I was surprised to see the versatility of each pouch and how it can be customized to your gun. The gun and mag holder are all attached via Velcro. I compared the pouch size to one that came with my field bag and it was close to the same size. You can put a compact and up to a full size pistol in these bags.. I originally was looking at the pouches that offered 3 sizes but there was no effective way to put the mags with the gun and not have them bang around together. With this system, they are all strapped in. The zipper and Velcro seem to be high quality and you can even take the Label off the outside and write the gun's name. I'll probably use Duct tape and write on it as it allows making name changes easier. Overall, I like it so much I ordered 3 more packages of 3.
