The Ultimate 3-Step Pen Polish

I have owned my Montblanc pens for well over a dozen years and use them daily as my tools of the trade. Other than replacing ink cartridges, I had never given them any "maintenance." I had been noticing they had become dull and fairly scratched up and I was considering replacing them while thinking it was a shame, given their cost as well as the fact that other than aesthetics, they still performed very well. I ran into a web page that discussed the officially-recommended polish that goes for about $100 an ounce. After further research I found this particular product, apparently formulated for MB's precious resin material. It has very good reviews, so I decided to give it a shot. I'm so glad I did. Application is very straightforward and extremely easy. The entire process takes less than 20 minutes, including cure time. Even after the first step (Step 0 - scratch remover), the difference was instantly noticeable. After completion of all 3 steps, my pens look almost brand new again and their shine in nothing less than impressive! The instructions warn you to be careful around the metal parts as to not rub off the gold plating but I went to town on the entire pens, metal included. I experienced no fading of the gold plating and the polish removed almost all the scratches on the metal too, making the metal look as polished and shiny as the resin body. I wish I would have taken before and after pictures, but in my eagerness to try out the product I did not stop to think about review pictures. I can hands-down recommend this product - your writing instruments will be eternally grateful.

Bought this product and was not sure if it would do the job. It does and superbly! One of the MB pens I have is 30 years old so it had quite a few scratches. I was able to remove them and give the pen that original look finish.

SO I tried this on a few Montblanc and Pelikan fountain pens and I was pretty surprised at how well it works. I would like to add that If you do have many micro scratches on your favorite pen, you will probably need to spend some time on step one of the process. The gloss was really nice without being greasy or having a strong chemical odor. I do recommend.
