I've paid alot for other books that didn't come close to this book. I wanted better ID of what I was taking, this book covers what I wanted! At $24 delivered in 2 days!

A very interesting book. Pears well with the “Modern Herbalist Dispensary.” One gives recipes while the other says how to grow plants and more gives more insight into the plants. It’s a fun combo. 🙂

I really liked it. It has a scientific base and it is easy to understand. It gives a lot of important data about the plants.

This is very thorough and helpful. I love that it not only is an encyclopedia of herbs but also gives useful instruction to using them in addition to drawings of 100 of them. The only thing I do wish it had would be a way to divide it by areas the plants grow best in/are native to in order to know where to look for them in the wild. It does give a list to some degree in the beginning where it breaks down historical herbal medicine by region.
