The end doesn't go bright red like my old one but still does the job

Excellent piece of kit,doesn’t make big holes in whatever you’re testing ,easy to use and clean.

It's an excellent idea and seems to work well. It does turn bright red when the cake is cooked but bear in mind that as soon as you withdraw it from the cake and it hits the air, the colour darkens quickly. So you've really got to make your mind up in the first second or 2 whether it's as red as it should be. I haven't had any false readings yet!

Bought this to replace my lost old one whichever worked used to go bright red when cake done. This one goes a milky, pale pink. Ruined a large birthday cake. Returned for refund, no problem.

Good addition to my kitchen, use for baking. Great results well made hopefully last a long time.

I'm a beginner baker and this tool is very helpful to see whether your cake is ready.

Does the job fine. I'm not entirely sure what the criteria is for the tip turning red is, mind....I just tend to check it comes out clean - I guess just putting a knife in would do just as well, and be a lot cheaper...

Semplice da usare ed assolutamente affidabile. Se la punta diventa rosso vivace la torta è sicuramente cotta, anche se sembra umida!

Hab ihn noch nicht oft verwendet ,kenne ihn aber da ich schon einen hatte. Einfach in der Handhabung 👍
