Q: what's better? to buy this three pack or to buy each color separately?

I bought the 3-pack. I was still on my original cartridges, but the 3 colors ran out within 2 months of each other. I appreciated that the 3 pack I bought had free postage labels to send the old cartridges to HP for recycling!!

Q: What is the percent of coverage when testing cartridge capacity? Other manufacturers state 2300 pages with 5% coverage.

HP uses a 5% page coverage when determining their yield figures. Due to the vast differences between customers on what is actually printed on a page, page yield should be used as a starting point for comparison purposes, and not to predict the exact yield you will get from your printer cartridge. This small explanation isn't even taking into account color vs mono, which uses another standard but still gets close to 5% page coverage.

The HP m254dw uses 202 cartridges. If you ordered a year ago, probably notreturnable but contact seller and ask.

These are the high yield toners, 202X, for the HP Laserjet MFP m277c6 printer. They have about 30% more toner than the standard toners, HP 202A. You can use both options in your printer.
