Murphy Bed Cabinet Lock Mechanism - Designed to Lock a Murphy Bed on Compatible Murphy Bed Cabinets so it Cannot Easily be Opened Unintentionally

As expected

We built our own wall bed, still married after ultimate DIY, and went ahead and ordered this piece from the same company, but via Amazon instead of their Canada location where the kit came from. Being in Southern California, we felt having a lock was a good option. It feels very secure and you have to tug fairly hard to pull it out, and then I use palm of my hand to push or “hammer” back in. Hubby easily installed.

I put 2 in, one on each side of the Murphy Bed. I had to add a foot long 1x4" piece of wood to the metal bed-frame for the lock to engage in. WORKS great, easy to install, My Daughter in Law is no longer worried that the Kiddos will pull the bed open on themselves...

I liked that it locked the bed in place, I didn't like the cost of $40 to do it.

Works like it supposed to. Good, clear concise instructions, All hardware included. What is not to like?

Because of the space inside the bed between de outside panel I had to add a piece of wood

Works well, a tad pricey
