This drone is even more wonderful than I expected! I suggest that anyone new to drones keeps it on the Novice mode until they are very comfortable flying it. You tube has some really informative videos for learning more about it. I highly recommend the EVO Nano+ premium bundle if you are looking for a small drone with great picture and video quality.

For a drone of this price the quality is not there 1000 usd you can buy a mavic air 2 which has remarkably better specs and quality. The first-time I power it on I started doing the firmware updates which failed 3 or so times but still where completed next I went out for my first flight the drone took quite a long time acquire gps as well as calibrate the gimbal when compared to is Competitors (DJI) however the camera is extremely grate for the price point.

Switched from my large drone to this for most all use. It is quick to setup and fly. Light for hiking with. The pictures and video are beautiful. Only downside is high winds in kansas will effect performance and battery life during flights

I got this drone believing autel was American in origin but it’s not at all that. Which is fine but I would’ve just purchased dji if my criteria at the time included Chinese companies. The gimbal on mine broke and it’s been almost two months since I spoke to a customer rep and initiated a repair request. I also purchased their additional insurance/coverage thinking it would ensure I always had a working device. They’ve ignored every single one of my emails. You can have your drone back autel. I’ve never owned dji but I definitely have heard much better things about their customer support and they’re a fraction of what one of these autels cost. I couldn’t flat out return my unit but Amazon did send a replacement. Update: Someone named caranza finally responded after what 2 months? She asked what I needed help with as if there wasn’t a backlog of outstanding issues in my previous emails. I suppose Im expected to be okay with waiting two more months just to get the runaround again. This company is so horrible. The tech is substandard and is priced as if it were a premium product. Tip: DJI Mini 3 pro is a couple hundred dollars cheaper and you’ll find tons of their users raving about how great their support is. I’ve had it for a 3 weeks now and I’m pissed off that I wasted time, energy, and money on autels garbage. I absolutely cannot recommend autels products or any of their services. At best autel is a DJI copycat. you could spend an extra $200 for an inferior experience. Their tracking and obstacle avoidance are hardly usable. They can’t serve their customers so i don’t expect there to be future firmware updates to improve any of their crap. If you want American go with Skydio. If you’re okay with Chinese go with DJI. I will point out that after flying Skydio, autel, and dji it’s become apparent that DJIs features are simply more mature — which makes sense because they’ve been doing drones the longest. Lastly: AUTEL, STOP SAYING/IMPLYING/CLAIMING YOURE A US COMPANY. IT’S A FLAT OUT LIE.

I picked up this drone on sale as an alternative to the DJI Mavic Mini 3 Pro since I've been leery of DJI's app with being removed from the play store and needing to be side loaded. This is a great little drone. Pictures are great (most of the time, it struggles in low light and it's easy to get useless blurred pictures) and it's super lightweight and relatively quiet. There were a few small issues with scuffs and poorly placed stickers on a brand new drone so quality control could be an issue. Unfortunately after purchase I found out that my main reason for purchasing this over DJI is now a mute point. Autel Robotics is now fully owned by a Chinese holding company and is no better than DJI despite the American flag in this listing. DJI now offers controllers with built in displays so I don't need to have a DJI app on my phone at all. In a vacuum this is a very good little drone, but it's not quite as good as the Mavic Mini 3 Pro, especially if you add the DJI RC remote into the mix since without the sale price the DJI bundle with the remote is a better deal. If you really want to avoid DJI this is a great drone for what it is and I'm looking forwards to seeing what they put out in the future even if this particular model isn't quite up to par.
