This maybe a one job wonder for me but it worked very well to release the strut. The bit end fits into the arm and turning the spanner widens the gap between them and opens it up to release the suspension strut. It did have a fair few markings on it after use and but it worked well for me and as long as it doesn’t damage the housing then it’s ideal.For the money it’s a good price really, it’s one of those jobs where it will sit in the box for a few years but it will last a god few jobs.

Just had to change the wheel bearing on my daughter golf and this made removing the strut from the bearing carrier so easy and re fitting it was the same, I didn’t know this tool existed but I would recommend it to anyone who has a tool box 😁😁😁👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
