Ordered the king size gas-lift version with 5 foot headboard, and took a punt on the mattress after reading other reviews. Company kept me updated with delivery time/date, but was surprised only one bloke turned up to deliver it, so ended up helping him carry some of the (heavy) parts into the house, otherwise he was only going to leave them outside the house so he could take a proof photo of delivery! Although there aren’t that many parts, was quite complicated as the assembly instructions are really bad, and once I sussed it out, was amazed it took so long as it should have been quite easy, given there are relatively few parts to put together. Better assembly instructions should be provided. Enough of the downers, as I have to say this bed is truly fantastic! Completely solid once assembled, with no squeaks, rattles or movement in the frame. Looks fantastic in situ, and the 5 foot headboard makes it look like a much more expensive bed (similar versions in National bed stores cost up to 3 or 4 times more). The mattress is superb for the cost, given the king size was under £200, and much more comfortable than a branded double I bought, costing 4 times as much!! It’s firm but not too hard, very little movement when the other-half moves or turns, and after the first night getting used to a different bed/mattress, have slept soundly. If you’re looking for a superb bed, with a real luxury look and feel, at great value, look no further, this really does fit the bill.

Purchased this bed basically a year ago now. Wanted to wait before reviewing. Lovely bed. Well made. Great storage. Only slight issues you do have to tighten the bolts every so often. Comfy to sleep on. Sturdy frame. Great item for what I paid.

Good sturdy bed .easy to put together even better once the new central bar was replaced for the right one .give the guys respect for doing it so quickly and very responsive on the phone .

Beautiful bed. Loads of storage room and although the instructions are very basic, it is easy to out together. I couldn't recommend this enough. Delivery was early than expected and was telephoned and update regularly. Delivery drivers were excellent, very accommodating and helpful. An excellent buy and great quality. Highly recommend.

We paid extra for assembly, but when the installers arrived, they had forgotten the headboard, so the bed could not be assembled. I only received the missing part a week later, which caused a huge inconvenience since I had already disposed of my old bed and we had to sleep on a mattress on the floor. For the price charged, this is unacceptable. Horrible service—I would not recommend this company at all. Do not be fooled by the fancy description—this bed is not worth the money. The materials feel cheap, definitely not “premium” as advertised. The ottoman storage is awkward to use and does not lift smoothly, making it more frustrating than useful. Overall, the craftsmanship is poor, the quality is nowhere near what is promised, and the result is far from the elegant piece advertised. I regret this purchase and would not recommend it to anyone. Zero Stars
