Does exactly what is advertised, speed is 2.0 what i paid for and also for its price cant argue, I use it so I can an external 2.5" hdd inside my case without taking up any of my high speed usbs on my motherboard (Y es USB 3.0 would've been better for a more consistent speed but 2.0 is more then enough for a Sata 2 hdd)

Great product, cable is shielded and having the larger moulded USB socket at the end is handy so you can attach (stick or tie down) inside you PC case. I use mine (I purchased 2) for my Logitech Unifying receiver & a Bluetooth dongle mounted inside my PC case saving my from wasting two external ports.

You'll probably need this to get extra USB provision for certain internal card readers which say about using a cable out of the back of the PC case via a back plate. This negates this untidy method and all you do is plug it onto a motherboard USB header & connect your device, job done with no unwieldy loop-throughs.

Used this to add a USB port to my motherboards USB 2.0 header, so I can have an internal USB drive with Unraid installed. Works exactly as expected.

Used this adapters to replace a long USB cable for an arcade joystick and it is pin compatible with the widely available Zero Delay USB boards. I drilled a hole into the side of a wooden self build case and filed it out with rasp to tightly fit the plug shape, then pressed it in from the inside until level with the outside surface, now I can use a standard A-to-A male plug USB cable of any length. Perfect!

I used this with an Expenology NAS build to have the USB flash drive with the Xpenology bootloader inside the casing instead of using an external slot, works fine and makes for a cleaner looking build.

yes it works, simple but usefull, ensure that the plug is put on the pins the correct way as it will fit either way (red +ve is is the pin furthest away from the blank)

Pour qui veut disposer d'un connecteur USB dans son boitier à moindre coût, ce câble le permet en le connectant sur un port libre USB de type F-F de sa carte mère. Pratique si l'on désire brancher un éclairage led USB, par exemple. La bonne surprise est que le câble mesure en fait plus de 20 cm, il vaut mieux en avoir plus que pas assez, me direz-vous ! Mais attention ! Veillez bien à le brancher correctement en respectant la polarité de votre connecteur sur votre carte mère sous peine de provoquer des dégats à celle-ci ou à votre appareil connecté dessus. Vous avez généralement 2 ports usb disponibles par connecteur sur votre carte mère, vérifiez l'image que j'ai postée pour connecter ce câble en haut ou en bas sur votre connecteur tout en respectant la polarité. @+

I have installed this dongle with no issues into my server build. I'm running unraid on that system which boots from a USB drive. I didn't want the USB stick to be tampered with from the exterior of the case and decided to use this so there USB stick could be concealed within the case. So far have I've been running with this attachment for a year with no issues. Would certainly recommend for anyone else that needs to have USB-A access within their case.

Wer in einen Aldi-PC ein neues Mainboard eines anderen Herstellers einbauen will, stößt schnell auf Probleme. Entweder sind die internen kabel zu kurz oder passen nicht auf die eigentlich genormten Anschlüsse auf dem Board. Diese Adapter ermöglichen den Anschluß der Front-USB zum Board. Achtung die internen Federkontakte sind recht flach und führen zu Wacklern! Also im Falle des...vorsichtig nachbiegen.
