This device managed both to drill holes and screw in an awkward position and with quite tough wood. I found for the most difficult part, I had to use a spanner to grip the right-angle adapter tightly, else it would (not surprisingly) spin around. However this worked well, and I assume the internal gearing in this is of high quality because it happily survived a lot of drilling and screwing.

Good quality product, but I had to dismantle mine in my workshop and spend time making a shim/washer before I was happy. Three happy hours fixing it to my standards, now works fine. Unless you are an engineer or skilled DIY enthusiastic, forget it. Geoff Nunn, UK.

Very small, perfect for those awkward jobs.

I used this to rebuild tyre walls at our race circuit. It's extremely handy for getting into awkward places, it does need a hand on it/rest it against the job to keep the whole tool from rotating. It's smaller than a cordless drill chuck, which is brilliant. However, it is made from very lightweight materials and the price reflects this. It lasted one day, around 100 uses, and then the bearing carrier and retainer fell out and it was renderer immediately useless. Therefore it is designed for infrequent use only.
