What can one really say. I loved Lego as a kid then as I grew up my interests shifted towards real cars and the opposite sex. Now I have a family of my own and my little tornados are in to Lego. So there I was down the toy isle at the supermarket as you do every bloomin visit with my category 4 and 7 at the time natural disasters, sorry I mean children who are now 6 and 9, when all of a sudden I felt a very sharp pain in my neck caused by a severe amount of whiplash, I couldn’t believe what had sparked such reaction, like a tractor beam pulling me in and with no chance of escape I was drawn towards the shelf. There it was the start of my next childish addiction, the box had an ora around it with a faint sound of heavenly angels calling to me “take me, you need me” it was a Lego replica of a WRC Audi Quattro complete with a race car driver in his smashing little Audi racing suit, his little yellow head grinning, he winked at me and told me to close my eyes, he said “remember when all you wanted to be was a race car driver now you can” my hand reached out and like a tramp on a bag of cold chips I clung on to that box all the way around the supermarket with a smile as big as a Cheshire Cat, I was happier then a pig in @#$? and even my lass rolling her eyes and shaking her head in disbelief whilst saying “you are by far the most childish one in this entire family you’ll be wanting alphabet shapes and chicken nuggets next for tea” was gonna break this wild spirit. From that moment it was one of my many dad missions in life to collect them. Lego Speed Champions are for big kids with big dreams who don’t care what the world thinks of them. Now if you don’t mind I must go I’ve got a drift car world championship to win in the hallway against my bitter rival the 6 year old he’s turned up in his Lamborghini Huracan but I’m feeling my 007 Aston Martin DB5 might just beat him around the hoover and cat scratch post.

Got this for my 18 year old son who loves it! We are Lego addicts in our house and this is just another set to the collection.No problems building and looks great once done!
