I took my Challenger on a road trip and wanted a bit more security when parking in hotels/parking garages. It fits well, easy to attach and easy to take off. As for if it works, my car didn't get stolen. I doubt a serious thief would consider this as serious security. Just another layer to make it a bit more difficult to steal.

Mostly I wanted this to use as a security bar. I had no interest in the additional features like the flashlight, window breaker, or the seatbelt cutter. But the basic bar works well, so why not get the other features as well. I had no issues with receiving a used bar or with dead flashlight batteries as some seem to have had, mine was well packaged and in good condition. The bar itself works well and is very easy to use. It takes only seconds to unlock and remove it and its even faster to put it back on. The one thing I am having issues with is the rubber strips that are designed to stick to the curved parts of the bar that connect with your steering wheel so as to keep the bar from wearing on the wheel. I live in Texas and the temperature has been well into the 108 degrees range for the two weeks that I have had the bar. You can imagine the temperature INSIDE the car. Its been too much for the glue that holds the rubber strips in place, though I am still using them until it gets cooler again and I can find another way to keep them in place. The bar itself gets way too hot to touch on the metal areas, but the bar has a soft cover on it that stays cool enough to handle the bar with. These are defeated by cutting the steering wheel (not cutting the bar), but even that is more work then most thieves want to put into it so I am hopeful this will work well.

It is easy to use- put on or take off. Seems sturdy.Can't seem to get flashlight to work and there isn't replacement keys. Lose a key and you have to buy another one.

I like the product which is why I choose to invest in it, it's very useful for my needs

The metal and other materials used to make this steering wheel lock are solid, very strong casting that won't break or saw through easily. While not foolproof, I'm confident that it is of sufficient quality to slow down a thief or make them choose an easier target.The seat belt cutter and the flashlight are an added bonus.

After my Kia Soul was broken into by the Kia Boys, who attempted to steal it but didn't, the police recommended I lock it up with a "club" type device. They said it doesn't really matter if it's an expensive one or not, the teenagers who are into stealing Kias simply don't know how to deal with this type of device and skip cars that have it.I'm happy for the extra security this provides until I can save up for a less-stealable car! Knowing that today's car thieves largely ignore cars sporting "the club" is also comforting - I will be using it in my next car, too.

Heavy duty piece with solid construction.

I just received this steering wheel lock and it fits my steering wheel. The only issue I’ve seen is the little flashlight does not screw into the end. The end of the lock threads have not been tapped but two turns. Does not effect the use of the lock.
