Makes life a lot easier
When we purchased our Thule bike carrier for three bikes we overlooked how difficult it would be to load on our two heavy ebikes. Now this is very easy thanks to the ramp. Sure the larger mountain bike tyres don't fit snugly into the groove but it's only a minor gripe and after a week or two it's no longer an issue. Highly recommended.

Bad instructions, lazily put together for multiple racks. Poor quality pictures.
Dreadfully bad instructions. The rack itself is fine

Too narrow for e-bike tyres
I was looking forward to this ramp so as to save having to lift my e-bike onto the 925 carrier. Unfortunately the ramp is too narrow for the tyres of my e-bike as they just get wedged into it.

Ok but . . .
The ramp fitted ok on my Thule carrier, but I found that the pedals got tangled up as I pushed the bicycle up it, needing to angle the cycle outwards, whereupon the first time I tried the wheel came out of the track. Perhaps with practice I will get better at it. So overall it just about does the job for my heavy-ish bikes.I agree with others too that this is an expensive bit of moulded aluminium - I and sure that it costs much less to manufacture than the purchase price, and having now got it I wondered whether I could have made something myself just as effective for a fraction of the cost.

Too expensive for what you get!
First, let me admit that my Thule bike carrier was never designed for ramps. However I needed a ramp for an e-bike (pedelec) and the price new for any Thule ramp is extortionate so I did look at alternatives, aluminium plate or channel can be bought for around £15 then you need to cut hooks into it to attach to a Thule carrier. I did find this second use carrier for just over £30 knowing I'd have to modify my carrier to suit it.Second, having made a suitable method of attaching this to my carrier, involving aluminium plate 3mm thick attached to my carrier - details not given here as it's still a work on progress, I tried this ramp.Third, the word trial in English sums this up. Trial from try... so you try to line the back wheel onto the ramp just as the front wheel reaches the top of the ramp and for my first attempt the rear wheel careers to one side and pushes the ramp to one side. This is when you notice the main design flaw in the ramp being the hooks, which in my opinion are not long enough and the cut angles are not quite correct, which do not feel like they have enough possible play built in to ensure a good attachment to the carrier especially if the floor the ramp rests on is not quite level and so the end result is a rocky motion of the ramp as wheels trundle along it with the possibility the ramp may unhook itself. In summary, it's feasable that these were designed to be used with specific Thule carriers and my modifications applied to my carrier may not be suitable but I've designed clips that in theory should suffice but in practice with a heavy e-bike the design of this ramp leaves a lot to be desired and reading other reviews of owners with the correct Thule carrier they report they still have difficulties using this, some say they need to practice using it to make it easier but in my opinion if Thule got this design better in the first place it would be more reliable to use each time.I'm now looking at a better way to clamp the hooks to eliminate the poor design 'uncertainty' of rocking and unhooking if certain tolerances, such as uneven ground effect it's use. I'm going to persist but I'd not recommend paying the Thule price for these as what you get is not worthy of the cost. As one reviewer said these should be supplied free with Thule carriers.

Well worth the money
Used for the first time today, we have electric bikes and it made loading them on and off the bike rack so much easier

Handig stukje materiaal
