It works very well
I used this to zero in the laser sight on my home defense shotgun. Just adjust your laser sight until two dots merge into one, and bada boom you're done. Well-built should last a lifetime.

It works.
Brand new AR12 with new optics. Aligned the optics to the beam at night as to see the beam at greater distance. Tweaked the optics to get dead center at 50 feet and waited till morning. Brand new shotgun and optics and nailed the target on first shot. Couldn't be happier.

No Switch
Wish it had an ON/OFF switch. Hate removing the batteries after each use. A contact on the side that completed the circuit to the base would work.

Must remove batteries to turn off
While this works as described, and seems to be accurate (haven't been to the range yet), the instructions say to unscrew the battery cap a bit to turn it off. Nope, it does not turn off, as the batteries still touch the sides of the battery compartment (which is connected to the (+) of the circuit. Thus, you have to completely unscrew the cap and remove the batteries to turn it off. A minor annoyance, but otherwise it seems to work well. The instructions also say to not close the breech, because the extractor could damage the item. But without the breech closed, the shell is loose and can move in the chamber, and can therefore not be considered to be accurate. I noticed no damage to the device when ejecting the shell by normally racking the ejector mechanism, so not sure what they are on about.

RIGHT ON THE MONEY!!!
I watched a video on youtube about how accurate these are, well the one on the video was off center, so as you spin it the dot moved about 1" off...... I checked mine.... Its right on, which im glad, so its 100% a very good bore sighter!!
