Love it, but it doesn’t like making longer seals with eco/biodegradable bags on moist setting
I love this! It’s easy to use! My only grip is that it doesn’t like the biodegradable compostable bags I purchased separately when used on the “Moist” setting. The longer the seal I need lengthwise for these bags, the more of a problem I have with them. I believe that this is due to the fact that those bags are a bit thinner and less stiff than regular plastic ones and when I need a longer seal, the bags tend to get a little warped on the inside of the machine. There’s a 50/50 chance of wiping the interior seal gasket off and/or simply flipping the bag around and trying again and again gets it to work finally, but not always. With these bags, I have to plan to seal them on the shorter side or just end up using a dry seal or doing a moist seal and then quickly canceling the process and then pressing the seal button just to get it to work, but I wouldn’t push my luck trying to do a moist seal this way with something that completely full of liquids being not sure if that would ruin the machine or not. I’m not sure why the two different seal options don’t work equally with this bag, but they just do. I didn’t come across a single issue with the dry setting at all after I learned how to use this machine, which was quick and easy to do! With the bags the machine came with, I did not have this same problem as the biodegradable bags. However, I didn’t by this machine with the intentions of using it with regular plastic seal bags polluting the planet with more plastic so it’s a minor inconvenience of working around this problem (making sure the vacuum sealing of the bags is on the shorter side or cutting the bags smaller) for trying to do better for the environment. So it DOES work with these bags (Vesta Eco pouch bags) but it just doesn’t care to work as well for the bigger seal only on the Moist setting, but this is more so probably a bag issue than an issue with the machine.I also DO love the smooth internal buttons with a simple hidden touch screen, but after wiping this off a few times, I can see that it does scratch easily even when using a gentle touch. I keep mine in the box to keep it in new condition because...well...kids! Lol!!...but I’m still curious how long the top will stay in new condition with only a few gentle wipes can put light scratches on it. Also the silver is not a stainless steel, it’s a grey plastic in case anyone is wondering. My kitchen is stainless steel and black, which is why I chose this color, but had I known it was just a hard grey plastic, I would have just when with all black, but that’s just my personal opinion on that one. Looks and feels nice and sturdy so it feels like it will still last a long time.

Worth every penny
I was skeptical when I ordered this, but after it arrived I was happy. It vacuums very well especially for the price point. Small, so it takes up little counter space and could fit in a large drawer, quiet compared to many bigger more expensive ones, looks nice so it can be left out on the counter, seals very well and relatively quickly, easy to use as I haven't even pulled the manual out of the box. Only time will tell, but as of now it seems to be a great functional nice pc of equipment. This is the first sealer I've bought and was worried it wouldn't do the job, but the wife wouldn't like a big bulky commercial one on the counter either, but I decided worst case it was junk and I'd return it, which as of now won't be happening.

Great little vacuum sealer.
Love that this saved money and food. Super easy to use. Love how sleek it looks. I have noticed that on a few things in the fridge after awhile the bags start to lose some air. I don’t know if it’s the bags or what, but I did use the bags that came with it. Still, I would purchase this again.

Great value. Helps me eat healthier. Way less food goes to waste.
This is my first vacuum sealer, and I chose it because the FoodSaver brand had horrendous reviews. Many of the other machines seemed to be garbage and offering people incentives for manufactured reviews. I'm pretty much in love with this Fresko sealer because it saves me so much money and helps me eat healthier. In conjunction with the Rubbermaid FreshWorks produce saver containers, I'm throwing out far less than I used to. My freezer is organized now. There aren't all these disparate bags of soon-to-be-freezer-burnt foods, and it's also aesthetically pleasing and appetizing to open a refrigerator or freezer and have these pre-made, pre-portioned bags ready. Conveniences like this are what stops the psychological will for me to go grab a quick bite (fast food) instead of having to cook. I notice myself going to the grocery store and not second guessing my produce purchases because I know I can keep them fresh. Normally, a helping of fresh green beans would promptly go to waste in the fridge before I could use them. Now they don't. That's one example. The thing shown next to it is cooked rice that I plan to freeze if not used within a day. I highly recommend purchasing Fresko's pint-sized resealable bags (as shown in photo, available here on Amazon). At $20, it's a bit pricey, but I find that they're worth it. I haven't tried with other brands of bags yet.The one gripe I have is that it can occasionally be flaky about sealing if the food pouch isn't level with the sealer or if it detects an improper seal (even though it might look to you like all of the air has been removed from the bag). If you face problems, you can put your hand under the pouch while it seals, make sure you're not leaving too much room in the bag (slide it in close to as far as it will go), and make sure you're using the moist setting for anything remotely moist. While you can sometimes get a really tight seal with dry, it's inconsistent.

easy to use
Great product! I purchased one for myself, but had to purchase two more for family members after I showed them how great it is. I will definitely purchase another one should this one ever stops working
