Ours only plays music for a few seconds then drum lights just turn on... is our product defective?

It sounds defective, but you’re in luck because when the music does play it is SO LOUD even on the lowest setting. We actually don’t even like when she plays with this. Also, the microphone broke off its cord, so she basically just walks around with a detached microphone that doesn’t work and we rarely turn the actual piano part on.

I just got this on the mail and put new batteries, it doesn’t want to turn on. What I do ?

You're lucky. Don't use batteries. I just gave this to Goodwill because even on the lowest setting, it is ENTIRELY too loud. We hate this toy. Good luck!

Is the microphone supposed to make your voice sound louder? On our unit there is no difference if it is on or off.

Please turn on switch at the microphone and adjust the voice.

I think the size of this drum set will be too small for a child age three and older.

I purchased this drum set for my one-year-old, great grandson's birthday. As much noise as I made with it, he was most interested in licking the drumsticks!

Customer service for the win

The media could not be loaded. Got this for our 1 year old. At first we liked it, looking at the reviews we removed the orange tips on the sticks so he wouldn't choke on them and found that we preferred to just put the sticks away until he was older. The 3 stands that hold it up weren't too bad, it did occasionally tip over while playing. After a month of using, I took the video. It just "drums" on repeat, sometimes you can't even turn the power off to get it to stop. If you mess with it enough it'll stop for a few seconds but then go right back to it.*Updated from 1 star: Customer service reached out and sent us a new one free of charge (also offered a refund). The new one is working like normal. Hopefully the first was just a fluke.

UPDATE: Seller makes it right months after purchase...It won't last 2 weeks...

After several weeks of play, my grandchild loves this toy. As a retired music teacher I love the musical features of this toy and how it introduces the baby to making music and familiarizes with musical styles and standard songs. I look forward to the musical learning this toy offers.UPDATE: after seeing this review seller reached out and replaced it. Hopefully this one will last a reasonable time.It was only used gently under adult supervision and it stopped working in less than 2 weeks. It's such a shame because he really loves it. Can't return it because it was bought early for a Christmas gift.
