I bought hand counters as a stocking stuffer per recommendation from Busy Toddler (busytoddler.com). I chose these for the color and only needing two for my 6 year old who loves to count and keep track of points. They have been a huge hit. He plays his own basketball and football games and keeps track of scores for team blue and team red with them. It is also helpful on car rides for making a game of keeping track of various items we see on the road. It has also helped him learn to read numbers in the hundreds and thousands. We are also using the counters to track data. Because he is 6, my son's life is apparently horrible because he "NEVER" gets to do what he wants. As an experiment, I suggested that he use his counters to take data on how many things during the day he has to do that he doesn't want to do versus the things he wants to do that he gets to do. So far, it's looking like odds are in his favor with the blue counter (don't want to do) at 6 and red counter (getting to do things I want) at 10. We'll see how the experiment goes. Anyhow, this might need an obvious gift for a child, but it has worked out well, and my son appears to enjoy them quite a bit. They have held up well for the first month post Christmas. It can be a little difficult for him to reset the counter by twisting the dial, but overall it works great.

These counters work just fine. I'll keep them until I get what I really need, then I'll donate to a school for their athletic department to use. I didn't think about me not being able to reverse the count by a certain number. These can only be increased, or reset to zero.I will stress that these are as described, the sale was smooth, and shipping was fast. No problems whatsoever. 😊

I use this at the pool to keep track of my laps. The simple design is just what I needed. It’s durable and a good value for the money.

Bought these for my kids for Christmas (6&3). They have been counting things with them for weeks! One of the most played with toys, great value!My 6yo is using it to help solve addition problems to. It’s great when they can have some fun with learning.
