Cuddeback went quiet for a little while as other companies fought to rule the roost. Well Cuddeback is back. These cams are great in every way, price, photos, trigger speed, good plans and ease of use, but what has impressed me the most is battery life. I have cams out now (02/10/24) that were deployed in October and I have yet to change the batteries. Keep it up Cuddeback!

I am presently running 3 Tracks cameras 1 black & white, and 2 color-daytime. They are paired with a Cuddeback Solar panel each. I've had them in the woods continuously since 3/21/24, with 1,117 images so far in their history. and never changed a battery! Still 100%! Easy to adjust from my phone or computer and can share pics with other club members. Another perk is one data plan covers all the Tracks-if you limit image numbers. Very clear day or night.

Update. Several months after this review a customer service representative contacted me. He apologized for the doors answers and had me set the IR sensor to high instead of optimal. I then tested the camera and it detected out to 30 yards. I know I will likely get a lot if flash pictures, but at least the camera works now. Therefore I increased the stars to 3 and bought a cuddelink starter pack to try. Last year I bought this camera to test if I wanted to invest heavily in cuddeback cameras. I have spypoint, tactacam, and moultrie and I was looking to settle on 1 type. Cuddeback had a great rep so I tried it. The battery life is amazing, picture quality is low like spypoint and the App is mid. But, the deal breaker is the terrible detection. It will detect large objective like a 4 wheeler at 25 feet, but deer at 30 feet are ghosts. I had 2 300lbs feeders emptied with almost no pictures. However, the cheap noncell $30 muddy camera beside it took over 1000 pictures. I called their customer service on 01 Mar 24 and was told the camera has a max detection range of 30 feet! Ten yard detection has to be the absolute worst range on the market. I was going to use their link system but she told me all their cameras have a max of 30 feet. Even my cheap spypoints consistently reach 60 feet effortlessly.

I ordered 4 Cuddyback Tracks cameras and all 4 interior lenz covers are foggy or dirty. I contacted Cuddyback and they said they have not heard of any issues. My son also ordered 2 of the same and same dirty lens covers. This will effect picture quality. I also ordered 3 Cuddylink cameras a month ago which feature the same cabinet design and 2 of the 3 were also fogged inside. I tried telling Cuddyback representative but they are in denial that they have a quality control issue. If you want the best picture quality possible do not buy until they fix this problem. If you purchased one of these recently, take a flashlight on an angle and check for clarity.
