exactly what I've wanted
The package arrived in perfect condition and the contents were clean of any trace of dirt much less stones. I've struggled making a pot of pintos until now! I soaked them for two days and simmered them in plain water. Finally, I cooked a successful batch, so I'm glad that I ordered a 3-bag package.

Great Pinto Beans!!!
Purchased these Amazon brand beans over my normal retail store to see the difference. I soaked them the normal 12 hours and cooked them up and they did great. No additional time needed for soaking either.

OMGosh, these beans were fresh and cooked up great. been buying my beans from somewhere else. they old beans, weevils were bad in the three bags i bought. now i know where to get my beans from.

Cool beans
These are great to have on hand. We like to make chili with beans at least one a month, more often during tomato/pepper season. The quality is good, with very few undergrown or split beans. They're described as non-GMO, but I'll assume they were conventionally grown if that matters. I didn't encounter any stones or dirt clods in the bags we've received. The price is comparable to our local ethnic markets for the weight. If you don't require beans in bulk, I believe these pinto beans are a good value. The 1 lb bags are convenient for storage. I'd appreciate if they came in larger bags. We have these coming in our Subscribe & Save deliveries.
