Q: Is this product really as good as advertised?

I don’t know what benefits are being promoted in their ads. But we remodeled two bathrooms in 2020, using marble and ceramic tile from several manufacturers, and this is the one product that they all recommended for weekly bathroom cleaning. The bathrooms look great and I am glad to know that we aren’t using something that could damage the finish on our tile.

Q: will this clean black mold from grout? My shower is less than one year old has Mapei grout and is darkening with what I think is mold

Q: I'm using this to clean my showers. Do I spray them and leave it dry or do I spray and wide dry?

We recommend to dry the shower for at least 48 hrs then spay your shower with Mapei ultracare... Let it sit for 10-20 mins applied more Mapei cleaner and proceed to clean with a grout brush. Rainse your shower with hot hot water and you will get a brand new shower!!!!

Q: Will this remove grout haze from your mapei flexcolor cq? i removed most of it using mapei ultracare but still have a few spots left.

I used flex color cq on 2 tile projects. It is important to remove as much of the grout as possible during the initial application/cleaning process but I always found small clusters of quartz firmly stuck on the polished tile. I found that using the Mapei Everyday UltraCare with a soft white plastic putty knife was helpful in removing the stubborn little clusters of quartz. Spray the cluster with the cleaner and let it sit for one or two minutes and then use the putty knife to break loose the quartz particles. Use a wet sponge to remove the cleaner film and polish with a microfiber cloth. I found that I might have to repeat this process a few times to completely remove a cluster. I also found that Mapei has some good cleaning tips on their web site for removing grout haze if the cleaner products are not working.

Excellent for cleaning stains

I use this product for removing grout haze and residue from tile after grouting especially after installing grout with Mapei Flexcolor CQ. It works as well as any other product I have tried. It also works very well in cleaning thin set mortar stains from porcelain and ceramic tiles.

Good product poor packaging.

I have used this product for many years and am happy with it. Received my order this week and the box was very badly damaged and there was some leakage.Packaging needs more improvement.This has happened on previous orders as well.

This was not enclosed in plastic wrap/plastic bag. it leaked in the box, soaked the box bottom.

This product works very well for the intended use on a stone-enclosed shower.

This is amazing, there were residual marks from the installation of my flex grout that I could get off the time at all- with this it’s one spray and wipe and it’s gone!

I have used it and am happy with the performance

The spray bottles leaked in transit and the package was soaked to the point of falling apart. Naturally, I lost some product. The seller replaced it with a bottle of concentrate that will yield much more than the 2 spray bottles I ordered. I have used it and am happy with the performance. It doesn't smell bad, although I do open a nearby window for proper ventilation, as directed. Good product.
