I have used a lot of these and so far (touch wood) none have failed. Writer used is a PIONEER BD-RW BDR-209D

Arrived within 5 days from Japan...pretty quick delivery! Managed to burn the first one as a coaster so far..but that may be my fault in the burn settings. Subsequent burns ok.Don`t try to burn to full capacity, or at max speed, as you are more likely to be successful. These hold a lot of data, and are good value for money.Recommended for a punt at £20 post included
