Nice
Very good m.2 read n write speeds. RGB is nice n bright, lights up the dark space under the GPU and the drive activity Cylon lighting effect looks cool and easy to see drive is in use. I'm impressed, I would recommend and would buy again .

Works with PCIE 1x, as well as 4x/8x/16x
I wanted to note that while it states in the listing it is compatible with PCIe 4x/8x/16x, it is also working in a 1x slot as well.

Work, looks nice this m.2 adapter. Good price, goal is to last 3 years. I'll update review if it dies before that.

fast and functional, but not the lowest profile
I was using this to add a 2nd NVME to my old motherboard that only has 1 slot, but when I got a newer GPU I couldn't use it because the plastic screws that hold the heatsink on got into the fan. If you need something that will be flush with the slot above, don't get this one.

Works Perfect, don't have to buy a new PC
Installed in 10+ year old computer with SP pci m.2 2280 256 gb ssd, Works Great ! Like haveing a brand new PCOrdering setup for my other PC

It cycles through a rainbow effect
Can be turned off with a switch on the board (Mine has the NVME facing downwards, but I noticed others are different, put it in the position of the locking pieces direction).

Works fine with 4TB P3 Crucial SSD - RBG lights are annoying but can be turned off.
I bought this adaptor for price and compatibility for my Windows 11 Dell 3020 tower. There was only one 16x PCIe slot and I mounted a Crucial P3 4TB PCIe M.2 2280 SSD on it. With help from the Crucial support page, I was able to have my computer recognize it. Dell said I couldn't do it.The RGB light bar might be sexy to some, but I found it immediately annoying as it would glow between different colors all the time as long as power was on the computer, even in sleep mode. The bar is so bright it lights up my den at night, and I had to shut the door to not bother us while we were sleeping. Fortunately, there is a white slide switch on the right edge of the component side that you can push down (I used a small screwdriver since it would not budge with my finger) after it has been installed. If I was not able to shut it off, I was planning on returning it.

the LED is very bright but you get used it
I bought this to even out the balance of lighting in my PC and it definitely does the job. Its very nice, the m.2 seems to cool properly, and it seems to work fast. the only minor downfall is that the color is constantly changing and when it is under load it indicates by having a white light going back and forth which was a bit annoying in the beginning but you get used to it.
