I chose it because it comes from a totally sustainable source and does the job. I found the price quite acceptable and Amazon delivery made it easy. My houseguests from Europe were not as enthused with the texture, but I have found these rolls to be sturdy and comfortable. They also don’t “shed” like many soft, fluffy brands. First time I've actually been grateful for a cancelled order!! I normally get Seventh Generation recycled toilet paper but it was unavailable. I did a bit of research (NRDC's rankings, also known as the Issue with Tissue) and found that this Amazon (I know!!!) product got a B grade:). Not only that, but I really, really like it (OK, I love it--I'm 69 and use it ALOT!!)--it's strong, soft and durable. Worth the money for the quality and lower environmental impact than most. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality product that's easier on our forests.

I was pleasantly surprised by how soft and strong this bamboo toilet paper is! It’s gentle on the skin, doesn’t fall apart, and holds up just as well—if not better—than traditional brands. Knowing it’s made from sustainable bamboo makes me feel good about using it every day.The rolls are a good size and last a long time. The quality of the toilet paper is fine and I appreciate the fact that bamboo is a readily available renewable resource. Therefore, I am happy to pay a little extra for the product in order to save a few more trees, etc. However, I would have preferred to receive my complete order. I paid for a quantity of 24 rolls. The box arrived in tact and clearly says "24" rolls on the side. Unfortunately, there were only 22 rolls enclosed. It had obviously been opened and then taped again over the original tape. I don't know whether this was a return and somebody used two rolls and returned the remainder or if it was opened in transit. Either way, somebody dropped the ball. Accidents happen, and it is only toilet paper after all. Nevertheless, I feel like it is worth mentioning in case I am not the only person with this issue.

This is my first time at using this toilet paper and I'm hooked. It strong and soft to the skin. I've tried numerous toilet papers, and nothing compares to this one. I will definitely purchase this again. Each roll is individually wrapped. I was skeptical about using this I was afraid it wouldn't break down and we are on public sewer. I tore a piece off and ran water over it and the paper did break up. I'm using less paper now because this one is heavier.

I've tried several different brands of bamboo toilet paper in the past few months as we wanted to move to a far more sustainable toilet paper source material. All of the brands we tried were surprisingly good. We tried the Amazon Aware brand in particular because of its very competitive price. I expected that, because of the lower price, the quality of the paper would not be quite as good as the more expensive brands we tried (and that would have been fine if the quality was still pretty good). As it turned out, the quality of this paper was the best of all the brands we tried and so this is now our go-to toilet paper brand. If you're looking to move from regular toilet paper to bamboo toilet paper, try this brand first. Excellent quality at a reasonable price.

This tissue is the best! It's thick, sturdy, yet the tissue is soft! It's a little pricier, but worth the money spent! The rolls are standard size, but the quality allows you to need less. The rolls come individually wrapped in the colors you see in the picture. Environmentally friendly also! You will love it, can't praise it enough! Try it, you won't want to use any other tissue!

Would I buy it again? Not sure, I'll be looking for other options because this paper is rough. It is one of the cheapest per sheet, but I can see many people having issues with how rough it is. It does it's job for what it's supposed to do, it is strong enough, but rough. I only bought this one because of the lower per sheet cost. I'll be using this until I fine a better value.
