This is by far my favorite tanning lotion. I have been buying this product for many years and absolutely love it. It is so easy to apply. First I shave and moisturize with lotion then after it drys about an hour later I add the Jergens. The color is so pretty like a natural tan. I get the best results when I get a little base tan It makes the product look so natural and beautiful. You can gradually increase your color by applying a little each day depending on how tan you would like to be. My favorite part is it doesn't wash off right away when getting in the shower. You have about 5-10 minutes to wash it off if for some reason you are not happy with the results but once dry it stays on very well. The key is making sure you apply evenly all over. And again a base tan makes it even better. The color shows up quickly as it drys. I like to wait a day after of not shaving so it can really lock in but you dont have to do that. Its great how it stays on for quite a while if you apply a little as it fades but shaving is not an issue for future showers. You may see a little come off when shaving but it is a very small amount. This bottle lasts me for about a month because of how well the color stays on. The scent is so-so . It doesn't smell like a fresh perfume scent like I would like but it doesn't smell bad. It's basically what you would think of for a smell of tanning lotion, if that makes sense. Ive smelled some that were really disgusting. This does not bother me at all. A little can come off on clothes when it is still drying but not later once it has dried. Good luck ladies this product keeps me tan all year long you will love it! Easy to apply and gives you a natural looking color that works quickly. You don’t have to wait hours to see the results. These tanning products all have an odor but this one isn’t too bad. Color lasted a few days before I had to reapply and that is with showering daily. Happy with the results.

I am very fair skinned, I can get a tan by laying out in the sun, however I’d have to lay out everyday for a week to get a decent tan. For the past 3 years I have used self tanner to tan. I’ve used and tried tons of different self tanners. I love how self tanners are better for your skin, however I hate how tedious it is to keep up with, such as applying self tan (feeling sticky while it’s on your skin), having to shower it off, seeing it come off in patches as you get close to needing to reapply, having to scrub your skin raw to get the old self tanner off before reapplying, etc. It can just be a lot to keep up with. I bought this bronzing lotion thinking that it would bronze my skin then come off in the shower. It does bronze your after application, however as it soaks into your skin it tans your skin! This has really given me a nice dark natural looking tan that I love and makes me feel confident! It dries quickly after application so you do not feel sticky and you don’t feel like it’ll transfer onto your clothes or sheets due to it drying so quickly. So far I haven’t noticed it coming off in patches like regular self tanner does. I would recommend using a tanning mitt as it can stain your hands while applying. Using a tanning mitt also helps spread it evenly which you will want, it is noticeable if you don’t spread it evenly. I’m in love with this product and will continue to buy!

I admit I'm biased towards Jergens skin care products but this product works as advertised. It is not an orange stain, like we see daily on a politician but rather a pleasant bronzer. To apply I suggest you use disposal gloves as will as an appropriate cosmetic soft bristle brush, which can be fond on same page on Amazon. This will give you a very even application. Less is more with this product. You are better off using a light initial coat, waiting until next day and apply a second one. Then you can maintain color by applications every 4 or 5 days depending on your skin tone. I have never applied to my face as I see bad results from this on a daily basis. Better to use a bronzer powder plus your normal makeup process. Just my preference.

I've used tanning lotions for years and this is my very favorite. Doesn't stink and works quickly. I can leave it on for a couple of hours and then shower it off and it still develops color throughout the day. Easy to get a tan starting the in the morning and not have to sleep with it on to get enough time on your skin. Lasts about a week. Natural looking color, not orange. Even looks good on feet. Use a glove to apply.

I used this morning for the first time. I did have a mit I used not my hands. I just did a very light coat on myself and went lighter on my hands, feet, elbows and knees. Smell is fine! It does smell a little like tanner but I’ve smelt way worse!! I have a nice glow 5 hours later. I let myself dry for about 5 mins after drying and had to run out the house. I put on white hey dude socks. After returning home no stains and everything is even. I’m happy this did exactly what I was looking for! I’m going to apply again tomorrow to get myself a tad bit darker but I didn’t want to over due it first time.

I bought this item to try, I usually use the Jergens tanning lotion & firming. This definitely makes your skin dark, the lotion is really dark to apply. Be sure to wash your hands a dozen times, this stuff stained my hands before I finished applying. Ugh, it showed splotches, over my legs & arms. I took a shower the next day, & this item washed right off, which I was very happy about. I'm sticking with my original lotion.

This works very well and fast but you need to be more careful with it than the gradual tan version. It needs to be applied very evenly. If you miss spots or don't fully rub in a spot then you will see it after a few hours have past. It takes a few hours to tan the skin. Wash your hands with soap immediately afterwards if you don't want overly bronze palms that don't look natural. If using it on your face try a tiny amount diluted with water and wait at least 4 hours before adding more. You can always add more but you can't remove the tan. If you want simplicity that always looks natural go with the gradual tanner by Jergens. If you want that extra bronze or the skin looks redish and don't want to use a whole bunch every day then use this product carefully.
