Not the best Revlon tool
This tool is bulky and difficult to use. The settings dial on bottom of handle is not easy to turn. I followed instructions but it pulled my hair out while using. Even though I used heat protection before using, it left my hair looking fizzy and dull. I returned it.

Love this
I have medium curly hair that is prone to frizz. I can take my hair from wet to straight with just this one device which is a miracle for me. I’ve always had to flat iron my hair after blow drying even with a blowdryer brush. Not with this though. It’s great!

I Love It. Blows out my roots
This not a Dyson dupe, but it is a wonderful upgrade or companion in the Revlon one step line. I already have the one step paddle brush, so I am comparing the airstraight to that. I have coarse, super curly dense hair. Some might call it 4c. What I like about the Airstraight is that it requires a medium section of hair to provide the correct amount of tension for drying. Does this making my drying time faster? No, I have super thick hair. Even at the salon it takes my stylist an hour to round brush my hair. But it does make it easier to blow dry. The benefit of this that it gets close to the roots, which is key to a great blow out. With Revlon paddle I am not able to get my roots very well. Plus i can blow dry in whatever direction I want and get stellar results. I have not used the heat option. I only used it as a blow dryer. I took one star off because if I am going to use the heat option, I would like to know how high the heat is. Because there is no temp gauge I am taking a star off. As a blow dryer though I think it is phenomenal and it is really easy to use. I never had to waste time turning it off, because it has an autopause feature. Since it has teeth you do need to make sure your hair is detangled. DONT COMB YOUR HAIR WITH THIS DRYER. As you blow dry if you hit resistance, stop, detangle, and then continue. It's a little bit of work, but for the price, it is worth it. The blow dry is just as good as when I am in the salon.

Returning due to lack of use.
I’ve purchased this device twice now, once from Ulta (Returned) and now from Amazon (will be returning) because for some reason I felt like maybe this time I’d like it… Well, I don’t. The airflow makes my hair go a bit crazy and I don’t like that the air doesn’t just flow, instead every time you’re done with one strand of hair and open the plates, the device shuts off or the airflow stops until you work on another strand of hair, once you close the clamps the air automatically starts again and originally I thought this was clever but it became annoying … if I’m going to listen to blow dry sounds I like for it to be consistent so I get accustomed to the noise, I just felt like every time I’d do another strand I’d have to prepare myself for the loud noise again… maybe that’s just me but because it’s just me and that’s how I feel, I have to return.

Should have read reviews
I was thrilled to see a dryer/straightener all in one but it was horrible. I didn't care for the fact that the dryer goes off when released but probably could have gotten used to that. However it was way too heavy/bulky for me. If Revlon comes out with a smaller less heavy version I would probably give it a try but only after reading reviews.

Disappointed
Disappointed. Had 2 in 1 brush one step 2.0 and died after a year. Wanted to try this one but it’s not good. It’s pulling my hair badly and it keeps turning off automatically every time I release it

Deja el cabello grifo y sin textura manejable. Sirve con el cabello ya seco.

I bought this despite the bad reviews an I'm glad I ignored them and tried it for myself. I have fine curly and frizzy hair that takes forever to blow dry and straighten. This cut that time down a lot. I still have to run a flat iron over it at the end but that's more of a preference for me for smoothless. I thought this would be a great option to try before spending hundreds on the Dyson version but this is actually really good.

I like the item at first but when I am using it day by day I noticed that it doesn’t heat anymore and it’s really disappointing in my part whick I couldn’t use it anymore.

Great product, works well on curly hair as well. Good price.

It works pretty well, but not super powerful--it takes many passes to get a hair segment actually dry, and the result is not as smooth as you would get with a hair straightener.
