The dress is fairly good quality for for people with gentle play style. The fabric tool is what could be damaged more easily. Mine came in smash box forgot to take if it. The items were still intact and complete. The head band fits well. Everything has hold up well even with my cat attacking it.

WellieWishers are great starters into American Girl Dolls
I started my 2 year old with WellieWishers because the price point was better than American Girl Dolls and I knew she would drag them around/not fully appreciate the stories and accessories. My daughter loves the sparkly dresses and they are well made. I have had to put this dress through the washer and dryer twice and have had no issues doing so. the shoes are flexible plastic and easy to clean, too.
