Absolutely great. I've been doing a lot of travel as of late, and I'm a big tea drinker. Which is a real problem when you live and mostly travel in the US, because the vast majority of the tea you get in hotels is crap, and they almost never have a decent way of just getting the hot water you need.I bought this thing as an experiment, and I'm glad I did. It works flawlessly. Does about a cup and a bit, which makes it perfect for either your own mugs or hotel sized insulated disposable cups. It's nice and quick, and it's astonishingly quiet. When I used it the first time I wasn't entirely sure I had it turned on, because it didn't make any noise at all till almost the moment it finished. A single loud beep is your indication the water's done boiling, at which point you can just unscrew the lid and pour. I do wish it had some kind of spout, but that's a minor gripe at most. Once dried out, you can store the plug inside it and stick it in your suitcase, ready for the next trip. I'll be using this thing for a good long time to come.

This portable water kettle was fantastic for our 23-day road trip! I loved that I could plug it into our truck and heat water as we drove. It works consistently and quickly. I also used it in several hotels, enabling me to heat water for evening tea. My only complaint about the kettle is that it's tricky to wash the inside bottom, which isn't an issue if you only use it to boil water. For me I also heated milk in the boiler, and just needed to remember to wipe it out immediately after heating. I love that you can keep the cord inside the tumbler and the carrying case they provide is wonderful too. All in all a really great travel item! Would make a nice gift.

Nice little kettle. Takes a little long to heat up, but works well. Great for travelling.

The kettle is great. Easy to fill and operate. I like a warm beverage at night when traveling. I never want to use the in-room hotel coffee maker, for various reasons. This heats up quickly and perfectly, even at high altitude. It’s also about the size of a water bottle so it travels very well.

Bought this for a trip to Vegas this past weekend and it worked out perfectly. Sometimes after a long night out, you just want something fast and convenient in the comfort of your room and this did exactly that. Within minutes I had a piping hot bowl of delicious and comforting instant noodles. It only holds enough water to make 1 bowl at a time, but it doesn't take very long. I prioritized portability over volume so it was a compromise I was willing to accept. This will definitely be part of my must-have items I will bring with me on all of my trips now!

Update: I have now taken this on several trips, international flights as well as domestic road trips and I can say with assurance I will have one of these with me on every journey from here on out! (I may even get one just to keep in my trunk ‘emergency’ provisions along with a little bag of tea & honey packets & an extra travel mug.)So convenient, So quick, so easy, perfect for my needs while traveling/away from home. Being an avid tea drinker, I always want/need to have access to/ability to make myself one when the need/want arises without having to depend on getting hot water from somewhere/someone else. On multiple occasions this came in clutch and I was so very grateful & happy to have it! (As were my travel companions who benefited too) Just follow the directions and guidelines for use. I choose the second temp setting and it has been the ‘just right’ for me. The max fill amount fills my travel thermos/mug exactly, so no complaints, practically perfect in every way.
