Simple Solution Stain & Odour Remover 750ml (New) Trigger Spray, Blue, 10 x 5 x 24 cm

I had already tried a couple of other stain & odour removers as my 2 year old, while potty training has had a few accidents on the carpet & our bed, but unfortunately they didn't get rid of the smell or totally remove the stain. I decided to order this solution based on the reviews and I'm glad I did! I did need to use the spray a coupe of times on the mattress but the smell and stain has now gone. I would recommend this spray.

I had a vase of lilies on my mantelpiece. Unfortunately, a large flower head dropped, shedding its powdery seeds onto my new carpet. I tried to remove the mark with a damp sponge but only succeeded in creating a large, bright yellow stain. In despair, I sprayed on 'Simple Solution Stain & Odour Remover'. After 2 attempts, the stain had faded but was still evident. However, two days later, I was amazed to discover that the yellow stain had completely disappeared! The affected area is now a slightly lighter shade than before, but is barely noticeable. The stain remover must continue working long after its application and has removed any trace of the unsightly yellow. Well worth keeping a bottle handy - and it has a very pleasant fragrance too with no nasty chemical smells.

Unfortunately there wasn't an ingredient list on this product. However, as it said it was harmless to people and animals, I was hoping it would be perfume free. Sadly not! Perfume doesn't take away bad smells, it just masks them every so slightly. And at the same time causes irritation and allergic reactions. So unfortunately I can't use this product at all.

It gets the job done, but is no solution to the problem. If your cat is peeing somewhere, this is not going to stop that. It just removes the stain and the odour. Which is of course a very good thing. The problem is that your cat can pee on the same spot all over again.

and does what it says though you may need more than one application. I used it to remove pet stains. It has darkened the carpet, though.

It certainly removes the odour but hasn't yet stopped my cat from weeing by the back door so it might be a habit and a problem with my cat. I would recommend this product however.

Purchased this product many times in the past - the bottles last quite a while, and the product has a pleasant smell. I use it on the carpet, upholstery and also outside on artificial grass and have no complaints or stains. It cleans up after accidents nicely, although I've not noticed it doing anything to prevent repeat accidents - I think that's just up to training though!

Having five cats who do their business and chuck up hairballs on the carpet regularly this has been a lifesaver. Takes the pong out of the poo trays but doesn't always get the stains out from the carpets but much better than most of the products I've tried.
