Great shut off valves
These valves are user-friendly and can be easily removed and reused. They are priced similarly to sweat/solder on valves, and the convenience they offer is well worth it for various applications. I particularly appreciate the fact that one valve is blue and the other is red, making it easy to distinguish between hot and cold. I installed these valves in my master tub, where I previously didn't have any shut-off valves. They have great flow and my large garden tub fills up very fast. Now, if something goes wrong, I can isolate the system without any hassle. They worked perfectly the first time.

Good Value Valves
I bought two sets of these and installed one so far. They work as they should with no leaks. A good value for the price.

It is a well-made valve that's easier to install those that require soldering
These are very solid, compact valves that appeared to be well-made and are quite reasonably priced

Preferred over the Name Brand. Perfect for Mobile Home repairs.
I love these fittings. They are not bulky like some other brands; yet they hold tightly to Pex hose with zero leaks. And, they are simple. There's no extra shielding to confuse the DIYer.Nothing is "mistake-proof." So, if you need a "do-over," they can easily be released by sliding a plastic half moon gadget up the hose to tap against the fitting.I live in an older mobile home. Drives me nuts that all the plumbing is connected with cheap Pex rings. And, there are zero On/Off valves inside the home. Can't replace a toilet fill-valve because the supply line is clamped too tightly to the ball cock. (Doesn't unscrew)Can't replace a sink faucet because the hose fittings are in a space too tight to unscrew. All Pex stuff. It's been a nightmare for the past 20 years. These Sungator ball valves make such jobs easier. Simply cut the Pex pipe (or PVC) with a ratchetting tool that works like scissors. (less than $15 on Amazon.) Unscrew your connections, with the dangling hose still attached. Or, remove the sink to access hidden connectors.Finish the job by pressing both ends of the cut Pex pipe into the Sungator valve. No Pex tools needed. And, you end up with an On/Off option that should've been installed when the home was built.Don't wait for something to break before installing a shutoff valve. A lot of residents don't even know the location of their water shut-off. You can buy two Sungator ball valves for less than $20. Or, you can wait for a geyser to erupt, and pay a plumber $400 to stop the flood.Looking for a practical Gift idea? SUNGATOR.... Bob's your uncle.
