These work GREAT!
I bought the six pack of candles because the epidemic of these pesky mosquitoes brought the onslaught of legs and arms continuously getting bitten! Tried the bug zapper but that was only catching flies. I couldn't even sit in my living room watching TV while the little punks kept feasting on my legs and arms, and I'm a big guy so these little pests can have a buffet of a time with me lol. So I looked up citronella candles and this was one that caught my eye for the fact it was a six pack I couldn't resist. As soon as I got them I lit it up in my living room and within an hour these mosquitoes just disappeared! I put one in my room and they were gone as well, no more buzzing around my ears! They smell great too! Lasts for roughly 2 days if you let it burn all the way out. I burn them only when I'm in the room. But must keep burning them consistently or they will see that the smell has gone away and will come back and you will have to wait an hour for them to get the hint again. I don't have any major issues with the candles, I know these are technically made for outside but if you are careful enough you can avoid burning your house down making sure nothing is around them at least by a foot MIMIMUM! And at least put them on a plate or something to pick them up with as once the flame gets deep into the container it will make it completely hot to the touch, it is a tin can after all. I picked it up with my hand the very first time and almost burned my hand but I am used to very hot things so it didn't bother me too much. But only grabbed it for like 3 seconds. They are small and come with lids which makes it nice cuz you could repurpose the cans for other things down the road if you are a crafter or like to keep loose change or something. All in all these are great to buy and for the price you really can't go wrong!

Really lasts 25 hours.
It works and the smell is not offensive. Burns evenly. Love the wooden crackle wick. Small and powerful. Can place strategically without disturbing your outdoor space. The only drawback-my overhead outdoor fan can extinguish the flames if on high speed.

Works really well and great quality.
Smells great, burns completely and evenly and keeps mosquitoes and other bugs away better than anything I've tried. Definitely recommend buying these.

Wow - these really worked!
Camping last year, we got eaten by mosquitos. My wife had bites/welts all over her face so bad that she looked deformed. And yes - we had applied DEET based repellant - did not work so well...For this year, I bought a six-pack of these candles and spread them throughout our campsite. I lit them each late afternoon / early evening and let them burn until everyone was in the tents for sleeping. We did not have any mosquito issues - not a single bite.On the last day it was taking us longer to pack everything up and we ran into the evening. We had already packed the candles and were unable to light them. The mosquitos arrived in full force and with vengeance. My wife and kids sat in the car with the doors closed while I rushed to finish packing the truck and endured countless mosquito bites.I will never camp again without these candles.

Works good for the size
Smells decent and I really like the individual compact tins over the bigger ones. For the size they seem to cover a good size area judging by how far away you can smell them but they definitely don’t keep all the bugs away. The burn time is about average. The price was decent and I would buy them again mostly for the size.

Strong fragrances - let burn a long while before, extinguish carefully!
When I let these burn longer than an hour on a level surface (or propped level with something at hand) the wicks don't drown. The quality is evident. The wax is plenty fragrant. Repellent only confuse mosquitoes, make it harder to detect your scent. None repel, really. These, to me, emit a strong, pleasant aroma, and I burn these mainly to enjoy a bit of fire at my campsites, as a campfire alternative as I travel solo, not so much to attempt warding off insects. There are sprays and foggers I've found work better to minimize biting. But these, within close range, do seem to help. Small sized, I've found these last longer than expected. But YMMV - and actually, I admit, I've lost track of how long exactly these burn.

Good smelling.
The media could not be loaded. These seem to work. I had a cloud of gnats buzzing around my face. They left when I lit this candle. Sometimes the bugs are drawn to that candle and drown in the wax. That happened in Sequoia NP. I pick them out with a small twig. It's important to keep bugs and debris out of the candle or you might have a tiny bonfire as one reviewer discovered when using it as an ashtray. These candles seem lasty. They don't crackle much but that's not why I bought them. The wood wick does make a nice broad flame. They're good for outdoor ambience. I use them on the table in my garden when I am outside. For camping the compact lidded tin makes them easy to pack. They are a garden and camping staple.

Long Burn Time, No impact on bugs
These burned long and bright. They work great as regular candles. However, I don't think they did anything to keep bugs away. We had all 6 burning at once and were still getting bit. However, they last forever and created a nice ambiance.
