Definitely worth it, well made and very useful
This thing is ROBUST. Sturdy. A little awkward at first with turning portrait/landscape, I'm still figuring that out. The grip to hold the phone is just the right balance to secure without pushing buttons. The grip adjustment for the clip is oddly a screw instead of tension, but it kinda makes sense. Overall a great buy and I am sure I'll get a few more.

Perfect and sturdy
Perfect for holding my phone while I use it to learn new songs on my guitar. It's also good for attaching to my bedside table to hold my phone while I lay down and read

Sturdy and reliable, but ymmv
Updated: Seller reached out to me and offered me a new phone holder. It works great, but I am still hesitant to bend it too extensively so now I remove it from my bed instead of just moving it out of the way. So far so good!Original Post:Before it broke it was very sturdy and reliable. I didn't even know it was breaking. I had this over my bed so I could watch movies before sleeping, and would regularly move to out of the way when I was done.It held my phone securely in place and let me easily position it comfortably.Unfortunately it snapped last night while I was using it. I tried find a contact info for support but it appears to go nowhere. Sadly I cannot recommend this product and will be searching for an alternative.

Perfect for a show during lunch.
Works perfectly for me, I drive long distances. And have to take a break. This mount fits perfect on a hand rail. Holding it above my wheel so I can kick back and relax and watch a short show while taking lunch. The build quality is strong, but adjustable and hold the phone great.

Worked great until...
It was a good phone holder. The clamp was easy to open and it held my phone firmly. Did it's job for about a year. Then last night the bottom clamp cracked. My phone isn't even that big. Now it won't hold anything. I wish I could just purchase a new clamp since its removable anyway. Oh well.

Great until the elbow breaks then the whole thing is useless
This was a really good phone holder. It lasted me almost 5 years. I am heartbroken to say it is now dead. The arm and clamps are all still perfect but the bendy area towards the top has gone limp. So despite the fact that the top part of the arm is still in tact it’s useless. It droops and can’t hold anything anymore. :(

Disappointing Redesign – Now Practically Useless
I’ve purchased this phone holder multiple times over the past couple of years because the original design was genuinely great—perfect for watching videos in bed, leading Zoom yoga classes, or just hands-free browsing. But unfortunately, the newer versions have taken a serious step backward in terms of functionality and design.Let’s start with the phone holder itself:This product is clearly intended for people using their phones while lying down. Naturally, that means you're going to switch between portrait and landscape modes frequently—watching full-screen videos, reading articles, browsing apps. However, the part that holds the phone is mounted at a slight, fixed angle from the gooseneck. This means every time you rotate your phone, the whole thing ends up facing away from you unless you completely reposition the gooseneck again. It defeats the entire point of convenience and makes the experience frustrating. Now about the gooseneck arm:The first one I purchased had a long, flexible neck that could stretch comfortably from the table to my bed or yoga mat. It was sturdy, but not so rigid that you had to wrestle it into position. I liked it enough to buy a second one later on. That’s when the problems started. The second version looked the same in photos but came with a neck that was much shorter—maybe around 12 inches—and it was so stiff that adjusting it was nearly impossible. Unless you’re a bodybuilder, good luck bending it into a usable position. It felt like a completely different product, yet it was sold under the same listing. And then came the third one…By now, I thought maybe the stiffness was a fluke. I bought another to use during my online yoga sessions. But the new design changes made it totally unusable. First, the clamp holding the phone is poorly aligned for modern iPhones. The volume buttons often end up right where the clamp sits, so unless you place the phone awkwardly off-center, it keeps pressing buttons or muting sound.Worse yet, when you try to adjust the gooseneck, the clamp holding the phone springs open—causing your phone to fall out repeatedly. It’s not just annoying, it’s a potential hazard for your device. After multiple tries, I gave up. It simply can’t be trusted to hold a phone securely anymore. In summary:What used to be a fantastic, reliable, and practical product has now been redesigned to the point of being useless. I’m tired of ordering what I think is the same item only to receive an inferior version with different specs and worse performance. It’s incredibly frustrating when Amazon listings don’t clearly distinguish between these changes. This product is no longer worth the money, and I’ll be returning mine in search of something better.
