I originally thought about returning it since the silver version was $15 cheaper. Before I returned it, I wanted to perform a fire test to make sure it was even worth getting the silver version. After testing it, I decided to keep it since it lived up to the expectations. Hopefully, this video provides a piece of mind for those looking for a fireproof bag.

This is the perfect size for your necessary documents and valuables in case of emergency.Included inside is a smaller pouch for passports or cash. The outside of the case has reflective stripes which makes it easier to find in the dark.I’m not sure how well it would protect from fire or water but it’s a good go to bag nonetheless.The price was very affordable for the size and quality, especially when comparing with other bags on line.I definitely would recommend!

We live in Arizona, in an area surrounded by National Forest land. Fires burning now (2023) are close enough for us to realize we could loose all our goods.Realizing the most important thing is getting out quickly, but secondly, how would we start again?All our legal papers, i.e., insurance, passports, titles, tax info, etc., should be ready to go if we are asked to evacuate. Our Golkcurx - Fireproof Document Bag has enough room for all our needs plus if we didn't even have the time to take that with us we would at least have hope that the contents could be found intact even after a disaster happened.The water-proof aspect also was important. In case of fire they might save our possessions but if they were drenched in water would they still be viable? We feel we have covered all the bases to recover from a catastrophic disaster.I am grateful to find a good product at a reasonable price.

THERE ARE SEVERAL THINGS I LIKE ABOUT THIS FIREPROOF DOCUMENT BAG. IT IS STURDY AND WELL BUILT, ROOMY BUT NOT OVERY BULKY. I THINK I COULD REALLY GRAB AND EASILY CARRY IT IN AN EMERGENCY. THE MATERIAL IT IS MADE FROM SEEMS VERY STRONG AND I LIKE THE FACT THAT THE OUTER FLAP HAS PLENTY OF VELCRO TO READILY CLOSE TIGHTLY, BUT ALSO THAT THE INNER COMPARTMENT IS CLOSED WITH A ZIPPER FOR DOUBLE CLOSURE SECURITY. LASTLY SINCE THE BAG IS BLACK THE WIDE YELLOW REFLECTIVE TAPE COULD PROVE ESSENTIAL FOR IDENTIFICATION BY FLASHLIGHT IN THE DARK. THE HANDLE AND CARRYING STRAP BOTH ALSO SEEM STURDY AND WELL DESIGNED. I'M NOT SURE WHAT THE SMALL SEPARATE WALLET BAG WILL BE USED FOR BUT MAYBEIT WILL FIND A USE ALSO. ALL IN ALL I'M VERY PLEASED WITH THIS PURCHASE AND THOUGHT IT'S PRICE VERY GOOD.
