I got this to do the connection myself after realizing my apartment (I rent) has ethernet ports on the wall that's not connected properly to the ethernet box in the wall. Even as a non-professional, this was super easy to install even for a first timer. Nice quality for the price, and ensures good connection and speed.

Great and simple solution, it works just as advertised. I was not able to connect a bullet camera because of the connector is a little big for the limited space to connect inside the PoE camera.

If they are shipped fully assembled it's extremely hard to get the load bar and plastic out of its cover. So not only would I not be able to use them several times I might not be able to use them the very first time. That would be too bad because it's a great idea and solves a particular problem I have. I'm going to try a few more times before returning them. The company should put the pieces together lightly, rather than fully assembled, and send a diagram of the disassembly and reassembly steps, and maybe a youtube vid. Addendum: I used a little screwdriver, like the ones you use to fix watches, pried the top up a bit and then it was all smooth sailing. Changing my eval from 3 to 5 becasee it solved my problem, eventually.

Love the idea and concept, but this is a poor execution. Super easy to use and yes they work, BUT the RJ45 connectors in these will not stay locked into anything I connect them to. Keystones, directly into a switch - doesn’t matter. They will eventually fall out. Sort of a deal breaker.

Went together fairly easy and works. Now we'll see how long it lasts, but it looks stronger than the one that came on the cable originally.

They are not tooless, but I was able to use tin snips and pen knife to get wires cut, the top wires must be short or it will not snap correctly. But very good over all.

Watch the video on their site and look at the images. The 8 wires are inserted into the holder before being pressed onto the connector. There are 4 wires on the top and 4 on the bottom. The wires on the bottom must be shorter in length then the other 4 to allow connection.

I bought this because I don’t want to spent money on the other tools to make a rj45 connecter. After a few times making this work. It connects with my laptop no problem. Got full 1.5Gpbs speed to my laptop.

What a relief, after so much stress with the cheap crimp connectors. I had those ones w a separate boot, and many crimps later, I still could not do it. But these crimp connectors are so much better! My connector worked at the first try. Yes, they cost more, but the time and frustration saved is worth every penny. Fully recommended. Will definitely buy again!
