When the "battery protection" is activated, it can work in two ways depending on the specific model. Firstly, it can shut down the cooling unit altogether to prevent excessive power consumption and preserve your vehicle's battery life. Secondly, it can reduce the watt consumption of the cooling unit, allowing it to operate at a lower power level while still maintaining a suitable cooling temperature. When the battery protection of the refrigerator is set to High (H), the refrigerator will shut down when the voltage drops below 11.3V and will start again when the voltage exceeds 12.5V. When the battery protection is set to Medium (M), the refrigerator will shut down when the voltage drops below 10.1V and will start again when the voltage exceeds 11.4V. When the battery protection is set to Low (L), the refrigerator will shut down when the voltage drops below 9.6V and will start again when the voltage exceeds 10.9V. I hope this could help you.
