Reminds me of risotto.
I really enjoyed this rice! It kind of reminds me of risotto. I followed the directions on the package and the rice came out just right for me. Not mushy and not hard. It's not the same as traditional rice but I've been keto for years and this is the closest I've tasted. I made a beef and rice casserole and the rice kept it's texture even with leftovers the next day. No mush. The taste is whatever you cook it with and that worked for me as well. I will be incorporating this into my menu rotation for sure!

Outstanding!
At first I was a little hesitant to purchase this rice because many were saying it cooked mushy, and there were no clear instructions on the package to cook it. None of this is true! The instructions on the package is very clear on how to cook it? If you follow it, the rice comes out perfect! You must drain it right after cooking and put it in a glass container to keep it from overcooking by putting it back in the pot that you cooked it in.Also, the taste is amazing. There's a video that shows if you salt it good first, it brings out the flavor, and it does. I also added a little bit of chicken broth to mine which enhanced the flavor. It is definitely not too hard. It's a nuce texture, and an excellent replacement for a rice!

Great macros and a good carb substitute
This is one of my favorite low carb products. I usually use it to make fried “rice” - I find that adding spices and chicken broth make it much more pleasant to eat. I don’t like it unseasoned so it’s not a great substitute for plain rice, but as fried rice (with some egg) it’s delicious.

Tastes great just way too expensive without a sale
My tastebuds must be very different than anyone else here but this tastes almost like rice. I cooked it in 2 cups of water for a full serving instead of 4, and cooked for about 6-7 minutes. Still a little chewy, so if I cooked for another minute or two longer I’m sure it would be a bit softer. I’m impressed by the texture and taste. I just wish it wasn’t so expensive. Bought during prime day, and would only buy again when it’s discounted.

Eat at your own risk
I was excited about trying this product because of its macros, intending to use it as a healthy rice substitute. It tasted good and seemed to good to be true. Unfortunately about 3 hours after eating it I started feeling very nauseous and spent the next 4 hours puking it and half my intestines out. Probably the worst case of vomiting I'd experienced in the past 15 years. It took my body about 6 days to fully recover. After reading more about this product I don't feel it does enough to try to warn people that it's pretty high up in the rankings of food intolerance and people can experience pretty significant reactions to it. I do not have a previous history of food intolerance or allergies.

Good low carb rice alternative
Directions on rice package not super clear. I used water once the first time and didn't like the texture or flavor. I used chicken stock and more liquid the second time and it was very good! I bought another rice packet and found a recipe to make a asparagus risotto, super good! We bought the pastas and look forward to trying those! Great alternative to increase protein and decrease carbs over traditional rice.

Rice not Rice - set proper expectation
On a low-carb/starch lifestyle and missing Basmati and Jasmine rice, I gave this a try. In and of itself, it's nothing to write home about. Taste and texture are unique. For me, it's not rice I would eat plain like I would a basmati or jasmine. However, it does satisfy a psychological craving. I mixed it with onions, tomatoes and spinach and spices.

Finally, rice I can feel good about
I love rice, but I needed something low-carb. This is the best alternative I’ve tried. Great texture, and it works in stir-fries and bowls.
