E26/E27 Screw Head Light Socket 100-240V Vintage Ceiling Light Wall Lamp Bulb Holder Socket for Hallway,Kitchen,Basement,Garage,Bar,Restaurant (Black)

I ordered this to use with a ceiling light/fan combination. The fan came with a base and I had planned on returning it. After I opened the box I was immediately impressed with its looks and obviously quality. I have a Vintage "Edison" style dimmable LED bulb like the one pictured on the products page to use in it. I must first wait until I have an electrician to run a lne and place a ceiling junction box where I will be using it. Local code requires that a licenced electrician runs the line. It appears to be similar to any other ceiling light bulb socket, and comes with all required hardware for easy straight forward installation I forsee no problems. It has a high quality finish, looks to be very durable. It is quite a beautiful socket for the price. It's quality makes it appropriate for any room in the house. I recommend this socket.

Fit well, easy to install. No instructions included but pretty straightforward. No ground wire on the light switch but wasn’t any issue. Used it to install a socket ceiling fan and worked out great.

Don't buy if you want a flimsy piece of junk First of all the wires in this are the cheapest and smallest gauge wires ever, within trying to get it put up both wires inside of it just kinda fell out and the base is made of what I assume is a metal idk it felt very cheap The actual mounting bracket is cheaper than I am when I go on a date like I'm not sure that is even metal, I basically re wired the base and got a better bracket OH for the love of God don't loose the screws that go on the side to hold on the bracket dear Lord if you don't have the exact screws it's pointless to even try What I did is buy a bracket set for the ceiling light and made due but this thing is not worth the hassle of even thinking about buying it ever again

The idea was to replace this old fixture with a socket that would allow me to also add this mini fan. Worked like a dream. I already was using antique colored switch plates so it complemented those perfectly.

These are nice looking, and the shade attachment works great. My biggest problem is that out of the 7 that we ordered, 2 had to be returned for missing parts. So there's no quality control on making sure all of the parts are included. One of them was missing the base and the other was missing the nut and washer to attach the socket to the base.

Works well. Light base diameter was not quite what I wanted, it was a little slimmer than I expected, but overall it’s a good light.

Installed these in a recessed ceiling in my kitchen. Good source of light and are really attractive.

The color of the light socket is different than the color of the “disk” that attaches to the ceiling. Light socked is a metalized darker gun metal, disk is painted flat black. Diameter of the disk is too small to cover a standard US ceiling box. Had to return it.
