Decent quality extension, perfect for what I needed it for. Not really much else to say. I'll be buying another one for another project.

This 7 gang PDU is OK, but is missing a couple of the features that I have on the 6 gang one I planned to replace it with it. It comes with cage nuts, which is nice, but I did not need them. It fits perfectly in my cabinet, and the 3m cord is ample. I attached most of the appliances I use in the cabinet, but I hit a slight problem that I don't have with the six gang one - the extra socket means that there is just about enough room for standard UK plugs if all are to be used. I am sure that is fine for some, but I have a couple of things I use with smart plug adapters and the closeness of the sockets means that when a smart plug is inserted, I cannot use the adjacent sockets. Oh well. Also, there are no indicators to show surge protection is active or that the earth is good. And there really should be a cover on the power switch to prevent is being accidently switched when working in the close confines of cabinet. That said, it seems like a well made bit of kit and if I was only using standard sized plugs I would have zero problem using it. It costs a good bit less than what I paid for my 6 gang PDU.

Quality product

I installed it with my new desk, and it’s worked great. Really good quality, feels sturdy and looks the part. Length-wise it’s as described and was the right size for all of the plugs I have associated with my computer/work.

Needed a new big plug for my desk setup and this is perfect. it is a bit expensive but really heavy duty! really happy with it

The Amazon blurb says surge protection, but nothing on the box, nothing in the included paperwork and nothing on the strip says anything about it. I'm not swapping out my surge protection strip. I like the aluminium industrial look, but the paint flakes off really easily. The plug sockets are very close together, so any smart plugs etc. are going to clash. At the price point I would have expected individual switching. It feels very solid and I'm sure will do well, but not for voltage sensitive kit like a pc, which is what you but surge protection for.
