ranch cats love these things!
My 3 ranch cats love this stuff! But then, they're used to eating real raw foods as nature provides--mice and birds mainly, but they're also excellent centipede, spider, and scorpion killers. Two of the three cats are feral born and are ages 18 and 19 in perfect health. The other one was a tiny little stray when he washed up to my house during a flood 8 years ago. The elder cats are still very active and agile and enjoy catching prey and chasing squirrels in the oak treetops. These raw food nuggets are wonderful to have on hand with an extended shelf life. The cats eat them as is (dry) or with a bit of warm water soak for a few mins. These cats are outdoors year-round (summer highs 110 heat indices and winter lows 10 degrees) and love their hearty carnivore meals. I supplement feed the cats with either wet (canned), dry tasty kibble (nothing fancy), or these freeze dried nuggets. During winter they get mostly raw meat that's slightly warmed, or they get slightly roasted duck or chicken. Now I can give them the crunch they like with the freeze-dried pellets. Obligate carnivores must have good meat to thrive.I'm so glad I found FURRY WONDER Freeze Dried Raw bits. The long shelf life is such a plus. BTW, I bought the "sensitive stomach" formula because it was the only one available in the size I wanted at the time. Two thumbs up to the company for putting that fabulous pull tab on the opening. Novel idea. Much appreciated!

most affordable freeze dried and the only prey model raw formulation i have found
best price point by 10$ per pound compared to other freeze dried brands, and the only one i have found at all that is based on prey model raw.i have 10 cats and can still afford to feed them this once a day over their kibble, and i never have to add egg yolk to get them to eat it.

Something changed....no longer liked by any of my cats
I've got older cats who loved loved loved the nuggets (about an 1.5" diameter) but the new "mighty bites" as of Nov 2023, not so much. I ended up ordering it from Amazon after the 2 bags I ordered from the manufacturer directly, arrived as tough crispy bites (lot 13 on the bag). Almost as if the batch was bad. Well, Amazon also shipped lot 13 which arrived in the same condition. My cats won't even go near it and I can no longer crush the pieces with my hand so their older jaws are not liking it or whatever they did to the recipe, is having them turn their noses. The pieces don't look anything like the pics either. Seriously think there was no quality control and it stinks as now I am hunting for a new high protein freeze dried option.Bring back the nugget size and recipe, please!!!Sincerely, out 35 more bucks on a1lb bag of stuff my cats won't eat. Competitor here I come.

Great Food! Transition your cats slowly
My cats loveeeee the grow and thrive formula, they literally bite holes in the bag if I leave it out. I love it too because it is high protein and lower carb and overall is just a healthier choice than using kibble. I see a lot of reviews saying it was hard on their cat's stomach but please keep in mind when testing any new food on your cat you need to introduce it gradually over time, starting in very small amounts. I think it is decently priced compared to other freeze-dried foods, most freeze-dried food is a little pricey. Overall, it's a great option that I keep in rotation with a few other brands and my cats really enjoy it.

Ok
I ordered the furry wonder as a supplement to my cats diet, I had it that time five cats. Unfortunately, most of the time they wouldn’t eat it unless they were really hungry. It was a nice option to have a raw diet because it doesn’t go bad and just add some boiling water. I still have a bag of this and another freeze dried raw food, but I think I’m going to give them away if they are not expired. I’m going to go back to home cooked food for my cats. I had a tragedy were one of my cats passed away from toxoplasmosis pneumonia. And I don’t want to give them raw food of any kind anymore because that’s a risk. Although I believe the way he got it was from a previous infection or mice in the garage.

Really like the ingredients, but my cats don't like the taste
I have one cat that is used to a freeze dried raw diet (another brand) and I decided to try this brand because it seemed comparable ingredient wise and the cost was a bit less. Sadly my cat won't eat this one. Overall the packaging is good, the product is fresh, there is no bad odor. My other cat did eat a few bites, but she has since been changed to a limited ingredient diet due to IBD and can no longer have foods with chicken. As with most cats and their cat foods, it's always a hit or miss proposition. The product seems very good overall, my cat just didn't like the taste at the time.

This was good -- when available
My two elder kitties (now passed away) did well on this, without major digestive or bowel upsets. It satisfied their cravings for dry food without having to give them carb-laden kibble. I had them on canned-only for weight and digestive issues. My biggest complaint is that I can no longer get this Sensitive Digestion product, specifically in the small pellets for cats. It is available for dogs, but I'm not sure if that would be safe for my two younger kitties.

A great product
My cats loved this food. I would use it as an enticement on their raw food meals. Unfortunately it is no longer available. Bring it back, Furry Wonder!
