OFM Essentials Collection 2-Drawer Solid Panel Office Desk, in Driftwood

Overall, I think these desks are quite good. I bought 2 of them to use behind our couch instead of a sofa table. We don't have our new floors installed yet, but I did a comparison of the 2 together and I think it will look good when our new grayish vinyl "wood" floors are in. My main complaint is that the dimension listed for the length is not correct. Its listed as being 43 7/8 wide but in reality it is 41.5. Almost 2 inches less. I had planned on putting 2 small chairs under each desk and those extra 2 inches would have been nice.Other than that, the instructions for assembly were pretty good and I put the 2 together myself with no issues. They seem quite sturdy overall. The drawers work fine, though you can tell they're cheap when you open them but it's not a big deal to me. The drawer fronts might look identical at first glance but they are labeled for left and right and if you don't pay attention to that it will seem like the drawers don't line up right and hit each other so double check that.Another thing I like is the grain pattern lining up across the 2 desks on the top when I put them side by side. Just a nice surprise, makes it look a little more intentional.Overall for the price we are pleased with our purchase. I don't expect these to last forever but for the price they don't have to.

This did require some time to unpack, sort parts and assemble and took my handyperson *well* over an hour of pretty concentrated work; however, it was the first time he'd put this type of furniture together and he was being extra careful. If you're the impatient type, I suggest you farm out assembly to somebody else, and have a drink and read a book while they do the work - rather than spend an evening muttering profanities while sullenly regarding a big pile of wood and little parts.That being said, this desk is a total gem! Especially when you compare it's price to the similar desks I checked out locally. I got it in the gray, and the color works with just about any sort of décor. It's more than solid enough for standard desk items, and the drawers pull out smoothly and provide more than enough room for various and sundry accessories. In short, I think it looks costlier than it is and it blends in well with the expensive furniture I have in the room with it.Speaking of rooms - I'm using the desk as a bedside table, and it was a truly inspired idea. My previous table was crammed with a lamp, alarm clock, telephone, and the obligatory box of Kleenex. The desk, however, cheerfully manages not only those items, but a CD player, a box of CD's, a Fire tablet, pen and paper, stack of books, a framed photograph, etc. etc. I'm sure you get the picture, so I won't continue listing everything that's currently there....To top it all off, shipping was unbelievably fast. Highly recommend everything about this entire deal....! And NO! I'm in no way being compensated for this review.... I just really like this thing!

I really like how simplistic this desk looks. I also like the color of the desk, instructions were clear, and that I had plenty of extra pieces to work with in case I needed them. It took me two hours to assemble the desk (and I’ve assembled several and worked for a furniture company before). So I’d give yourself 2 1/2 - 3 hrs to make the desk in case you’ve never assembled furniture before.I’m glad to have gotten the extended warranty in case my desk arrived broken, as several have reported; however, to my joy and surprise, I found zero damage to the desk!The negatives I see in the desk are the drawers; they are easy to wiggle like a previous customer pointed out and the drawers don't identically align with the sides on each side.

This desk works well as a writing desk and holds my monitors and laptop well. The assembly instructions were well written and over all it took me around 2 hours to build. The only thing I don’t particularly like is it’s overall weight. You can tell it’s not real wood by the weight and feel of the material. But for only a little over 100$ it’s hard to beat.

I love this desk it was super easy to build my self oky husband help me with the top, but the rest was all me, it seems really sturdy nothing flimsy about it.

Very nice looking desk. It took me about 3 hours to put together by myself. Instructions were good and they provided extra screws and such. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

I'm happy with this and use it as a vanity. It is not a fancy and I would put it somewhere on par with IKEA products but I think it has more style. I paired it with a contemporary white chair that has a gray fur in it. The assembly is pretty straight forward.

Great table for the price!
