I had green hair recently because of some pool filters not being cleaned correctly , not from chlorine but algae and debris in the pool. I have highlighted hair and all those strains of hair were green after swimming with or without a swim cap. I took my chances on this shampoo to remove it and honestly I did not think it would work. IT WORKED !! It took 3 shampoos to do it but it did work! It was a great price for removing all that out of my hair so this is a great product!! I recommend it 100%!! I will keep it on hand in case I want to remove anything from my hair that was not suppose to be there it also made my hair feel slinky smooth , healthy and smells great! Thanks to whomever made this it was a life savor.

This shampoo is a must to have in the summer for those pool days. Chlorine can really damage hair and this product does a great job of getting the chlorine out, leaving our hair smooth and shiny.

As a hair dresser, I have used countless chlorine removal products. While on vacation I realized that I forgot to pack our usual chlorine shampoo so I ordered this out of necessity. The product arrived in a sealed bag with the safety tape across the cap.Some reviews I read before purchasing suggested that the product was smelly. When I opened the bottle I definitely noticed a w**d like smell which was not what I was expecting, but it wasn't awful.The viscosity was thinner than I was expecting but I quickly realized that a little goes a long way. It provides a great lather. As I was working the product in, my hair instantly felt so soft which is not typical with most shampoo products. I was worried the smell would remain in my hair, but the more I lathered the less I could smell it. I rinsed it all out and my hair was still soft, even without conditioner. I towel dried my hair and the smell of the product and chlorine was completely gone. After my hair dried there was still no smell and it was very manageable, no straw hair in sight!I gave it 4 stars because of the smell, but still highly recommend.

I brought this shampoo because we have a home pool this summer which I am in a lot. My hair was getting dry and brittle because of the chlorine. So looked for a shampoo & conditioner for removing chlorine and reconditioning hair. Ordered this one and after first use saw a major difference in my hair. Is soft and shiny again. So I highly recommend for anyone spending much time in a pool.

I was skeptical of this shampoo because of it's low price. It works wonders, no chlorine smell in my hair and no more irritating itchy scalp. Also has a pleasant fragrance.

Works well. Got the green out after a few washes.

Update: I decided to give it a few more tries. The smell continues to be disgusting. But after four washes (I wash about 2x/week), my hair is softer. The shampoo seems to be working to get rid of hard water buildup, so I added a star. My advice is to rinse with vinegar after washing, or use a pleasant smelling leave in conditioner to cut down on the damp sweater smell that lingers till hair dries.Original review: This clear and very runny shampoo is formulated to remove chlorine and mineral deposits (including hard water I'm told; the bottle doesn't make this claim). I used it once with no discernible difference to my hair texture or shine. One use may not be enough to gauge whether it works. But the smell is so appalling (can't describe except to say it definitely smells like chemicals, and not nice ones) I'm probably not giving it a second go. Even after rinsing thoroughly, my hair smelled like wet dog and medicine cabinet.

Actually love this product. It has a weird smell a little but it’s not too bad. I always double shampoo my hair so whenever I swim I use this shampoo as the first one. I have bleach blonde hair and it’s been very nice to have. I take it everywhere with me and I feel like it helps keep my hair healthy. My friend who is a swimmer uses this product and it’s nice since you can use it everyday if needed.
