Nice value!
I'm a sucker for laddered libraries. I've installed two in previous housesThe first ladder was a genuine 19th-century cast-iron and oak library ladder. Librarians used to keep the pope's "banned books" out of reach from the preying eyes of this then, 'underage' nerd. I recall Voltaire's Candide and Bocassio's Decameron were my targets atop the dusty forbidden bookshelf. I do recall being once 'caught' climbing and reaching for them as an 8th or 9th grader. The second library ladder was brass pipe and cast iron carriage as well but not vintage. The carriage here is bent and conversion-finished sheet metal. That's good enough for my purpose.Nice value for money. Excellent project self-entertainment.

Not the most high quality
I assumed this "gold" ladder was a gold patina. It is just spray painted. Spent the day putting up our ladder. The stoppers for the ladder do not function. They are already installed and you cannot tighten them into place. We will have to dismantle the entire thing to get the stoppers off and figure out a plan to make it stop where we want it to. The brakes on the wheels are hollow and not symmetrical so one side looks like a solid plastic brake and the other side looks like a really cheap plastic brake. The welds on the round bar are minimal and I hope they hold up. The ladder we welded is much sturdier than this track we put it on. Looks good from afar. Crappy construction made the install a lot more work than it should be.
