Great product
This mold making kit worked perfectly. The mold came out in great detail and is very durable and flexible in all the right places. Resin releases easily from it and it cured as described. Easy to mix and use overall. Very happy with my purchase and the price was very fair.

Excellent Silicone
This is hands down the best silicone I have ever used. I have been making silicone molds for epoxy/resin products for over 8 years. Over this timeframe, I have used both tin and platinum-based silicones from major manufacturers such as Smooth-On, Alumilite, and Specialty Resin & Chemical that were listed as “self-degassing” as well as those requiring a vacuum chamber to degas the silicone. The viscosity of this silicone makes mixing by hand extremely easy. My first mold I mixed the silicone by hand and did not use a vacuum chamber so I could determine how well it would degas on its own. This silicone performed the best degassing on its own out of all the brands I have used, but still had bubbles throughout the mold, but not on the surfaces. I do not believe there is any such thing as “bubble free” silicone without using a vacuum chamber. I have made about a dozen silicone molds with this product that ranged in size from 6 ounces of silicone to over 3 pounds of silicone for one mold. Every mold turned out exceptional. All the molds were cured properly and were ready to demold in about 4 hours. After my initial trial of not using a vacuum chamber, I have degassed every other project as I do not wany any bubbles in my silicone molds. If you measure out your ratios properly and mix thoroughly, you should have no issues at all with this silicone. There are a few things to keep in mind when using platinum-based silicone. UV 3D resin printed parts must be thoroughly sealed for platinum silicone to cure against the item. If fully sealing your object is an issue, consider using tin-based silicone as those do not exhibit the same issues with curing and are more forgiving with mixing ratios. Additionally, if the object you are casting in silicone is shiny, platinum-based silicones will render your cast product with a matte sheen. If you require a gloss sheen, you will need to use tin-based silicone. So far this is exceptional silicone and will be my first choice from now on. Only time will tell if these silicone molds will hold up with the same amount of use as my other molds made with silicone products from different companies. I am very pleased with this silicone.

Stiffer mold that holds its shape
If you are making a silicon mold for casting a resin plastic item. This is a great product, as it produces a stiffer mold using the Blue version, rather than the Green Silicone, which makes a softer, more flexible mold. I have been using this product for several years with great results.

Very nice, Very Strong and Flexible
I have only used one other brand of silicone before. This one seems to be much stronger and just as flexible as the other brand. I am impressed with it. Degasses well as long as it is not too warm when it is setting up. (without vacuum or pressure chamber) Easy to use and mix Captures ever detail Good removal of objects I have had issues with tackiness on some pours but I am not 100% sure if it was do to user error. One of my pours is into another silicone mold and that mold seems to be the one I have the issues with. The instructions say not to use with "tin cure silicone" and I have no idea if my mold is tin cure or not. I wish it did not take 6 hours to set up though. Over All great for what I am using it for. (Mainly making silicone parts) - O-rings, gaskets, standoffs, etc.

Nice material but with a learning curve.
I like this mold making material a lot. It says it doesn't need vacuum degassing and I made my first mold without vacuuming and it turned out fine but I can see a great many small bubbles in the mold so I have started vacuuming my molds after pouring the mixed resin into them and am very happy with the result. I am making wax injection molds and don't yet have experience pulling waxes out of vacuumed or unvacuumed molds so I am unable to say if vacuuming makes a difference in the quality of the waxes. I can state that the vacuumed molds have a better appearance. And either way the molds cut nicely for removing the model. It is very challenging to mix the material. I pour part A into a small disposable cup and part B into a second disposable cup then weigh each on a gram scale and adjust to match. A write A on one cup and B on the other cup so I don't lose track. I then pour each into a third cup and mix steadily for at least 3 minutes by the clock before pouring into the mold and vacuuming. I 3D print a funnel to attach to the top of the mold because the resin will foam up initially and come out of the mold when vacuumed.
